My wrist is super fucked up. I’m getting surgery in the fall, but it’s gotten so unstable that they put me in a cast for the next month to try to calm things down a bit. While a much lesser problem than my wrist itself, I’ve had the cast on for just a few days and it’s already getting kinda funky after just doing some cardio and bodyweight training. Any advice on training in a cast so my arm doesn’t smell like death? I figure it’s good to get a trial run now, because I’ve got another 3 months of casting starting this fall.
>>77366200When I had a cast on I didn't lift. Cardio should be fine though, maybe strap it if shit gets sore. If you're worried about it stinking you can try shove a damp cloth up there but it's going to get pretty gross no matter what you do.
>>77366215Oh yeah, lifting is definitely out of the question for the foreseeable future. Is there really nothing I can do about the stink? I’m like 5 days into this (did cardio on 4 of them) and my cast already smells like a pair of my used socks
shoulda chosen a pink one

>>77366200I’m Dalit and lifting is easy for me
>>77366200Just forego strength training and walk 2 hours a day. This will be a great opportunity to get your cardio up to par as well, it's more important than strength for health and longevity anyway. Don't forget that with this cast you can also not catch yourself if you fall, so walking is the only safe option over running or biking (or any other cardio). Walking an hour in the morning and then before sleep is also a great way to explore your town, make it your goal to walk every single road once instead of always heading straight for the highway
>>77366200If you're worried about your cast smelling like death use hand sanitizer, but that only delays the smell it will inevitably end up reeking if you continue to get sweat in it
>>77366200Yeah, I would recommend not making bait threads with two-month-old images.https://desuarchive.org/fit/thread/77194658#77194658
>>77366724What compels someone to do this? It's not even funny or angering, just lying for nothing.
>>77366737There's actually a psychological mechanism behind it but I'm not gonna go into it unless you're legitimately interested.
