Bros, I finally understand the appeal of eating disorders.
>5'11" (actual, repeated measurement in socks for athletics, not sneaky 5'10" "I'll round up but 6' would be suspicious so I'll trick them heh heh)
>long time 190, for many years though I should get to 175 but simply not disciplined
>5'10" GSP weigh-in was 170 and fight night was @182-183. I'm close to his size but he's a little more muscular so I thought 175 was realistic
>Make one hard run at intermittent fasting
>Get to 180 easy, then struggled to low 170s
>Suddenly it got easy and the nightly hunger mostly goes away
>Easily drop to 165
>Discover horrible natty truth that your ideal weight is less than you think
>Still happy, first time stranger girls actually give verbal compliments rather than just "the eyes"
>Compliments from bros stop though :(

Not sure where to go from here. While I've trained my hunger over the past 18 months, I know for certain it would bounce back if I start eating like an American again. The question is: should I start Ozempic to maintain?

your ideal weight is what looks the best as well as what is the easiest to maintain, unless you want to workout like a pro athlete for the rest of your life. At 5'10, I can maintain 170lbs around 10-12% bf all year round with 2 gym sessions per week and not paying attention to my caloric intake. I got up to 190lbs around 15% bf a couple years ago and it was a pain in the ass to maintain. It was like my body didn't want to the excess weight and did everything to shed lbs. The best I've ever looked was in 2022 when I was at 170lbs around 7-8% bf, that was insane.
>The question is: should I start Ozempic to maintain?
no. Just lift weights and eat enough protein at maintenance calories

Here's the obvious problem with your advice assuming you're not lying or simply exaggerating. Virtually no one, probably 1 or 2% male adults, stays at 12% "without paying attention to my caloric intake". That's like an alcoholic asking me how to manage his cravings and me, who rarely drinks and has zero desire for booze, saying "just don't drink bro it's easy". The whole point is the vast majority of people at 12% will often be hungry without the new GLP-1's.
