Coffee and caffeine in general has completely ruined my health and energy levels. I've been addicted to it for years and I have every symptom described in this video:Quitting Caffeine and Coffee Addictionhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kXq8na6Q9wWhat I've noticed over the years from drinking coffee alone:>poor sleep quality and quantity >low energy, constant fatigue, I'm tired all the time>mood swings and emotional instability >messed up sleep schedule>headaches>irritability >anxiety>elevated stress>depression >distraction and inability to focusI don't take any other drugs and I don't drink alcohol.
>>77368432imagine being filtered by coffee lmaozoomers are such pathetic little bitches
Can confirm. I'd argue that green and black tea are even worse than coffee because for some reason they really spike my anxiety
>>77368453>queers get anxiety attacks over drinking a cup of tea or coffeeKLOK
>>77368439>>77368500kekking my little butt off sipping my morning cuppa with my extra 200mg caffeine after 8h of highly restful sleep.
>>77368432I keep hearing caffeine is bad but when I quit it for 2 months I didn't feel any difference whatsoever. I get most of it from coke rather than coffee though, all coffee does is make me shit.
>>77368453i had to stop drinking pu erh because that shit would make me irrationally angry somehow. sometimes felt vaguely shitty on green and black tea too but idk either some weird fermentation byproduct or the amount i was having made me feel real fucked up from pu erh. meanwhile i can drink coffee all day.I think generally coffee isnt the problem mostly, it's just something easy to blame when you reach for it because you are stressed. Like, OP do you actually exercise regularly, are you at a healthy weight, are you doing well professionally or at school. Probably not.
>>77368432Just recently I acknowledged that I am, in fact, addicted to coffee. And I think it's not really just the coffee per se, but the "ritual" I've built around consuming it: preparing a cup, sitting down quietly, and taking a break from my own thoughts for a few minutes. It's a crutch. It feels comforting, although it's probably unhealthy. Regarding sleep, I'm clueless. I've been drinking coffee for so long that my brain probably doesn't even know what a night's sleep without caffeine feels like, so I guess I'd have to actually quit for as long as the guy in the video did to see if I notice any difference. Personally, I've been dealing with all the other symptoms you listed, especially depression, lack of focus, and irritability, but they started long after I started drinking coffee, so idk if there is a correlation.
>>77368575>preparing a cup, sitting down quietly, and taking a break from my own thoughts for a few minutes. How could that be a bad thing?>>77368432I'd bet it's actually internet/socialmedia addiction and not coffee that's causing all that

Nikola Tesla on coffee:"I was strongly addicted to coffee, with the result that my heart was subjected to a dangerous over-strain. It took me eleven years to vanquish my craving for this pernicious drink. The cure cost me a good deal of money. For eleven years I had the finest coffee prepared for me at my table every day, and never touched a drop. Its presence aroused my powers of resistance. If it had not been there I would have suffered from the craving. I, at least, have found coffee and tea rank poisons."https://teslauniverse.com/nikola-tesla/articles/nikola-teslas-youth-and-strength-78

Combine it with L-theanine and it is fine. Green tea has it naturally next to caffeine. Just supplement it together with your cup.Or drink decaf coffee to get all the benefits but no jitters. And never drink it after ~11:00 or ~12:00. Same goes for green tea desu
