Why do people always choose rice over pasta? My go-to meal prep is a making a ton of bolognese or beef ragu, then whenever I have a meal I'll just boil the pasta and toss it with a portion of the pre-made sauce. It's just as easy to prepare in bulk, plus it actually looks like a meal you put effort into and isn't embarrassing to pull out at work (unlike the stereotypical gym bro meal of white rice, chicken breast, and broccoli).

I've never heard of marinating meat in baking soda, but in my experience using citrus in a marinade breaks down the fibers and achieves the same tenderizing effect.

I've been eating Costco Rotisserie chickens for 4-6 nights a week for the last 5 years because it's an affordable protein source while I've been going to school.
As soon as I'm making decent money I will never eat one again I'm so sick of them.

food is; meat, eggs, dairy, fresh fruits, nuts, veggies.
food can generally be eaten as-is, raw, straight from the ground, tree, sea or sky.

if you need to mill and grind and split and process something before it's safe to eat, then it's not food.
even potatoes never really made me anything but hungrier.
I gave up all grains a few months ago and it's blown my mind how much easier it is to get lean, not constantly hungry from eating grains that only make you hungrier.
eat your chicken, then fill your stomach with raw veg and fruit.
