how much do you bench?
>>
>>77396189
>relative not absolute

What a joke
If you unironically do this shit, you are weaker than a fucking ant by your own admission

Meanwhile I can just step on an ant which is obviously weaker than I am
>>
>>77396196
an ant won't die simply by stepping on it, much to ponder

>>
>>77396189
i'm 'average'. started 5 months ago and my 1RM is ~185. which is probably not great but it's my weakest compound lift
>>
>>77396196
This. Nobody is impressed by dudes that weigh 100 pounds and lift 100 pounds. You're not competing with midgets you're competing with other men. Yes you are at a disadvantage. Yes that sucks. Train harder.
>>
>>77396260
if you weigh 100 lbs you may very well be competing with midgets
>>
Trying to bridge the gap between good and excellent. Powerlifting category for me is under 93kg, and I'm slowly pushing my bench up from 120 (need to get 127.5 to qualify for nationals, but probably 140 to be competitive)
I have a lot of fat I can lose I think
>>
>>77396248
cope, I can lift heavy as shit but I don't have to be 30% bodyfat like you to do it
>>
>>77396236
>>77396243
>anyone who cant bench heavy is dyel and anyone who can bench heavy is an obese powershitter
these are the people telling you how to live your life on anime pedo image board

Currently a fat fuck at 85kg and I only do incline but that's at 110kg, so my bench should be at bare minimum 120kg.
At the same time I don't consider that impressive at all, but I know that +90% of people going to the gym aren't lifting that.
When my incline starts hitting above 140kg at sub 80kg bodyweight, then I can say I'm actually happy with my bench.

I never do 1RM, how do I calculate that?

But I weight 85kg and I can do 3x12x100 with 90sec pause inbetween the sets, is that good?

I just dont understand this meme that fat people should be these monster benchers just because they're fat.
>Spend the last 10 years sedentary on the couch eating garbage and binge watching netflix series like Girlboss Mudshark
>Can now bench 400lbs
>>
>>77396374

People are just used to blobs lifting a lot, because eating for strength is so ingrained into the lifting culture.
Powerlifting doesn't exactly help to dispel that myth.

I only have dumbells at home and I do them off the floor but I will do 60 reps with two 60lb dumbells.
The first set I usually get around 30 reps and then a big drop off from there.
>>
>>77396366
Yh neither do I 1RM is an actual joke.

I’m slightly coming to the conclusion that a lot of these ‘gains’ people get are somewhat ‘paper tigers’ and they have zero stamina.
>>
>>77396395
I've never seen these "obese powershitters" ever in my life except in 4chan memes.
I think people see some 40 yo dad bod benching 2 plates and 4chan dyels think this is some great feat of strength so they start screeching about
powershitters. I dont know
>>
>>77396196
Based and true
Manlets keep trying to find new copes
>>
>>77396409

Every guy in my gym who lifts over 2 plates in anything, at bare minimum has a massive beer gut and usually looks like a fantasy dwarf.
Everyone else is a total dyel office worker type or a fat woman.
>>
>>77396440
well at least we know you cant even bench 2 plates or you're a fat manlet so your opinions on everything are discarded
>>
>>77396189
140kg max at 84kg bodyweight. I still wouldn't consider this excellent, it's great by normie standards but I'd get nowhere in powerlifting with my numbers. I like this chart though, very realism pilled by most gym bros standards.

>>77396260
On the flip side nobody gives a fuck about your 140kg bench if you weigh 140kg (about 300lbs in burger units)
>>
>>77396374
The fat people being strong thing is referring to permabulkers, not couch potatoes anon.

You would be surprised how strong you get if you keep doing 3x5 and eating a ton of food, adding weight all the time and not giving a fuck how you look. Obsessing over staying lean and doing cuts is what holds most people's strength back, if more gym bros were willing to get fat you can bet you'd see a lot more 3pl8 benches

I once got 375 permabulking, I weighed like 290 though and looked like shit. That was only 3 years of lifting too, dirty bulking the entire time.
>>
100kg x 4 at 75kg and im 33. How bad is it?
>>

not for nattys
>>

>a lot of these ‘gains’ people get are somewhat ‘paper tigers’ and they have zero stamina.
lold at "'gains' people"
seriously though, endurance and strength are at complete opposite ends of the training spectrum. you can do both, but if you want to truly excel in either, at a certain point you have to pick one to lean into
>>
I dont even have to know what the fuck a KG is to know I am stronger than every last europoor in here

I've never tried a PR, but at 65kg/142lbs, I think I've hit 86kg/190lbs on incline with wide grip for 5x5.

I get the imperial unit intuitiveness but you use the SI whenever your life actually needs to depend on the measurements like in space or war.

Those numbers are pathetic. Im 90kg and can bench 152.5kg for 2 reps, I don’t even think I’m elite level yet. Yet it list intermediate dyel level sub-3pl 135kg as excellent

You underestimate the average human.
This is an average for Americans over a decade ago.
Half of the men in the world likely don't have access to proper nutrition. While they might not also have access to exercise equipment, they can still do physical labor.
>>
>>77397201
>dude who can't even run 2 miles benching more than 300lbs
sure newfag
>>
>>77396189
Probably 275 for 3-5+ on a bad day? What about you?
>>
>>77396189
I dont bench, training chest is meaningless, humans have no usage for a huge chest in terms of athletics.
