Use a smith machine you can go heavy as fuck with shrugs using that. Mine didnt blow up until 315-405 3x8-10. Just be careful to not bend your arms if you're struggling.
>>77396453I don't do shrugs anymore because I hate its short movement pattern. The setup is shit, the feeling is shit, everything about shrugs is shit. Instead I do either a bb row variation or a deadlift every day and they have blown up
