i want bigger forearms
currently i do:
>fat grip pull ups
>towel pull ups
>hammer curls
are wrist curls redundant if i do fat grips? i feel that they work wrist flexion quite well but they are only isometric so idk.

Your forearms will grow on their own just doing other shit because all your lifts will involve grabbing things and squeezing for dear life. But I find hammer curls, wrist curls and reverse wrist curls essential, not so much for forearm size, but more like general injury prevention.
>>
Squeezing things is really what's best for you, and that genuinely just means "grabbing your weights for your other workouts and not dropping them."
They'll get bigger, but don't think you'll look like a bodybuilder until you spend your time doing drugs and forfeiting work. It won't happen.

Also, forewarning as a nearly 40-year-old man; stop with the "fat grips" or trying to keep your hand as open as possible. I implore you to actually close your hands. Make fists when you can. Your joints are NOT going to like you when you keep making claws instead of tight fists, and you'll find out you really, really miss when bend all your fingers tightly...

Go to failure nigga and don't listen to these faggots isolate isolate isolate
>>
>>77402901
what rep range do you do for forearm isolations?
>>
Deadhangs on a pullup bar for 4 sets. Hold until you physically can't anymore.
>>

Just keep doing fast grip shit. Doesn't matter if it's redundant. Fat grip is the way
>>

Farmer's carries was the only exercise that had visibly fast growth for my forearms. Set a timer, grab some dumbbells and walk around for 2 minutes. Do 5 sets. If you can get through all 5 sets without dropping the dumbbells, increase the weight next time.

It gets real painful after a while so it's also a good mental exercise too. Hold em until they drop.
I can literally see steam coming off my forearms when pushed to failure.

That's not how it works
>>

i can hang with one arm for 70 seconds
still have small forearms
that's why i am using the fat grips to make it harder
>>
I have a fat dick
Just grabbing that every day to pee and jack off has given me huge forearms. Don’t forget to pee and jack off, and your forearms will be as big as you want. assuming you don’t have a tiny little shrimp dick of course

>isometric will help you to grow one of the most stubborn muscle groups in your body
That's not even terrible advice, that's straight-up sabotage. You never lifted in your life, NEET.

>are wrist curls redundant if i do fat grips?
It's like unracking a bar, holding it on your back and asking if squatting is redundant for building big legs. Isometric exercises are good, but you won't build big forearms by just holding on to things.

I only do chin ups and have massive forearms

ECHO WHAT MOST SAY IN HERE,
OR TRAIN LIKE AN ARM WRESTLER,
>>
>>77402865
This as long as you're eating enough and get enough carbs and electrolytes
>>
>>77402859
is this thing enough to grow the forearms
>>
>>77402859
grapple. i dont think i've ever met a grappler/wrestler who didn't have popeye forearms
>>
>>77402859
Forearms are mostly bone. You can barely grow them.

I have good results from the row machine. I came to the conclusion that they respond to volume like calves.
>>
>>77405440
Yeah it helps for sure. It looks like it is adjustable too, which is good.
>>
>>77405440
Get the captains of crush trainer then work your way up to the 1 then 1.5 then 2 and so on. Keep it with you through the day and get sets in when you're sitting around. I can close the #2 and I have noticeably thicker wrists/forearms than everyone I work with

wrists yes but forearms no
