>Who is /fat/ for?
For frightening fatties who are working towards a longer life and a better physique through meaningful hard-work, strategy, and dedication. This is not QTDDTOT, stick to questions on fat loss. Post height and weight when asking for advice.
Join our Fatty Contest: https://www.fattycontest.com/

>What do I do first?
1. Read https://physiqonomics.com/fat-loss/
2. Calculate your Body Fat Percentage: https://fitness.bizcalcs.com/Calculator.asp?Calc=Body-Fat-Navy
3. Calculate your TDEE: https://www.sailrabbit.com/bmr/
Remember to use bodyfat% and use Katch-McArdle Formula with sedentary settings or your TDEE will be too high.
4. Plan your weight loss: https://www.losertown.org/eats/cal.php
5. Track your nutrition with MyFitnessPal (better for packaged food), Cronometer (better for generic food/macros), LoseIt (great for both), or Waistline (FOSS).

>Now what?
Count calories, all of them.
Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.
Learn to cook. Try to stick to lean protein and green vegetables.
Eat a lot of protein. 0.72g per pound of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and lose fat much quicker. No lifting results in the body eating away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.
Read the /fit/ sticky: https://liamrosen.com/fitness.html

>DON'T
Eat refined sugars, they're terrible for you regardless of calories.
Eat processed foods.
Drink your calories (alcohol, soda, Starbucks).
Freak out over a weight loss stall. Plateaus can last up to three weeks.
"Reward" yourself. Cheat days cheat only yourself.

God damn keto is so difficult to do a deficit on, it takes such little food to fill out 1500 calories and I can't just stuff my face full of vegetables either since it takes such a tiny amount of carbs to stop ketosis.
>>
>>77404376
What kind of foods are you eating?
Typical keto foods keep me feeling full for hours. The only vegetables I have is spinach and sauerkraut, the latter being more expensive but has fuck all calories and carbs.
1500 is also a pretty steep deficit if you're a big guy. If you're a woman it's probably fine
>>
>>77404372
Eat zero carb and lift like Dr Shawn Baker.
>>
>>77404337
Post body.
>>
>>77404376
>it takes such a tiny amount of carbs to stop ketosis
this isnt true. remember to count net carbs. most people stay comfortably in ketosis having anywhere from 20 to 50g net carbs per day
>>
>>77404376
You don't have to restrict calories on keto. Unlimited calorie keto works better than restricting calories with carbs.
>>
>>77404383
Breakfast:
1 Avocado
1 Scoop protein powder in coffee
1 boiled egg
40g of cheese

Lunch:
80g chicken breast
1 boiled egg
100g steamed broccoli
100g steamed green beans
1 tbsp oil

Dinner:
1 Avocado
80g chicken breast
40g of cheese

Lunch was 4 hours ago and my latest pee test showed ketosis slowed down alot from the morning.
>>
>>77404397
You don't have to restrict them as severely as CICO but you definitely should. Depending on how overweight you are, lets say as an obese person, over eating needs to be rectified so they can shrink their stomach. Not doing so will make the weight loss far slower
>>
>>77404400
>how big was the avocado? how much did it weigh?
>what kind of cheese did you eat?
avocados are great and luckily like 80% of the carbs are mostly fiber. broccoli and beans are more like 50-60% fiber to carb ratio which is also fine in the amount you ate.
when did you start this diet? it can take a while to enter nutritional ketosis.
>>
>>77404401
Measuring all your food and logging it in a diary is super gay and mentally ill. Instead of restricting calories I would just recommend adding some fasting days to accelerate weight loss, shrink the stomach, get autophagy gains and even stem cell healing. If you eat low-carb or nocarb it makes it easy to fast because of the high satiety. Also fasting gets easier after you do it a few times. It's like a learned skill.

No need to fast longer than 4 days at a time. Even an occasional 1 day fast is beneficial.
>>
>>77404405
also, was the protein powder flavored? those can contain quite a bit of sugar. was it WPI or WPC?
>>77404408
There's nothing gay about planning. It's the difference between successful people and those who aren't, in all aspects of life, diet not withstanding. Fasting werks but I found it negatively impacted my gym sessions and re-comping was more difficult. Easier for me to stick to regular daily meals
>>
>>77404401
>shrink their stomach.
This doesn't actually happen, not literally, at least not on any reasonable timescale. What does happen is your tolerance for the satiety hormones relaxes making you feel full sooner.
>>
>>77404339
gorge on potatoes. baked, boiled or microwaved.
670 grams of potatoes is only 556 calories.
>>
>>77404405
I was on low carb, switched to keto last night. I was peeing out 1.5mmol/L in the morning. Like I said its very easy to slip into keto from low carb, just hard to keep it up without foods that fill me and don't stop ketosis. Last pee test was 0.5mmol/L so lunch really isn't working out.

That or I'm not burning body fat at all and the pee test is just a reaction to food being turned into ketones.

One of the many life lessons they don't teach anymore is that fat people didn't get fat by being selfless, they are as awful inside as they are on the outside. Never hire a fat person, they won't do any work.

Parents hired a FAT property manager, the lazy cunt moved in a single mom and her three kids into their house and it cost them tens of thousands of dollars in lost rent and renovations that had to be done after they tore up the place.

It's really hard to trust TDEE calculators. AI says that a 6ft 165lb guy lifting three times a week needs to eat ~2400Cal per day and if I run twice a week then ~2700Cal per day.

According to that I wouldn't even need to diet, I could just eat garbage like normal and lift/run and I'd automatically lose fat.

Well, after couniting calories, I can conclude that alcohol is FUCKING DOGSHIT. This shit must fuck with your hormones and bodies ability to burn off fat. I have been 288-290 for a month. Obsessively tracking calories with food scale and measuring cups and MFP logging, including oils and condiments. Staying around 1000 below goal defecit. Choke down about 190g protein a day. I workout upper/lower 4x a week and get about 20,000-25,000 steps from job(5days) and 6,000 from after meal walks. I am assuming its muscle and water somehow? But its really weird to still be the same weight for about a month. I do not tape measure waist but i do think some of my pants are a bit looser. I do feel muscles kind of waking up in areas. I wonder if that's what it could be. I wish the weight would drop a little faster if I am losing fat and gaining muscle.
>>
I never tried losing weight so this is a first for me and Ive lost like 5kg in the last month but I noticed one thing
my right side (Id say around the liver) feels kinda strange, no pain but like sore muscles but only on the right side
first I thought I was sore from training but I havent trained in a week and it feels the same
so is this just my body adapting or am I going to die? anyone experienced something simmilar?
>>
>>77405084
I did. For me, it was gallstones passing through the bile duct. It started out similarly to what you're describing, but as I continued to lose weight it got worse. Gallstones began to cause multi-day blockages in the bile duct, during which time I couldn't digest food properly and was in severe pain. The last time it happened, a stone was lodged in my bile duct for about 6 days, and I had to get a procedure (ERCP) to remove it. I had my gallbladder removed a day after that and haven't experienced that pain since.

Just beware it can be an issue. The next cues for me were just food taking forever to leave the stomach and then a sharp pain around the gallbladder.
>>
>>77405113
thanks alot I check it with my doctor
so you can just live normally without the gallbladder or are you on meds constantly?

Hello, I am a fat fuck, well not really obese, I am 176790 ish kg and two years of gym behind my back until I started medschool two years ago.
I can't really get my hold on my diet while generally not eating much, I can't help to grab an Ice cream with friends and family on the daily basis. Any tips for that shit? I get my protein mainly from diary, 0 fat cheese curds mixed with shit to gulp it down. I started gym 2 weeks ago and I train till failure generally focusing on low weights high reps and high rest, and I play tennis 3 times a week around 3 hours each session.
I am desperate, and even when I was 70ish kg I didn't have a 6 pack. fat distribution is a faggot and I hate the way I have become a book worm fat slab of useless meat
much appreciated
How do I get over that? or is it over for me
>>
>>77405128
I live normally. The only difference is the gallbladder isn't there to regulate bile flow, so you need to eat consistently throughout the day, even if it's something small. If you don't, diarrhea.

Whole psyllium husk is a good way around eating, but it's nasty.

any muscle you gain is going to melt with fat loss and you wont gain any new muscles assuming you go calorie deficit?
if you want cardio, then walking 10-20km every day is way better since it doubles as fat loss simultaneously
>>
I shaved my beard and it was a bit of a wake up call on how out of control the weight gain has gotten. I am going to eat these 6 remaining double bacon cheeseburgers (maybe all tonight) and then going strict keto. Might even get on the peptides, I was on Mounjaro and it seemed to help a bit with the weight loss last year, but it kept making me poop myself so I stopped.
But before peptides were even a thing I lost like 40kg in 6 months once just pure keto.

HIIT increases basal metabolism for whole 24 hours afterwards. so that's extra 200-300 calories on top of 300-500 you burn with the training
you have to walk 3 hours for something like that. Which I would do if I lived somewhere close to nature or woods, creeks, rivers and such, but i live in concrete jungle hellhole
>>
>>77405395
but how much do you have to do? i usually do 20 minutes of HIIT on the excercise bike before doing my regular lifting but i could stretch it to 30 if it really mattered

Your body has a heirarchy for fuel preference, as long as something higher up on the list is in your body it won't touch something lower, alcohol is at the top of the list, followed by carbs, protein then fat. The last two are debateable as for their order, they switch places depending on what you are doing.

>>77404811
The problem with this is being able to tell that I'm in a 1000cal deficit, it doesn't seem so when I compare my current diet to before because nothing really changed about my meal portions. I was already in a deficit before because I physically can't eat more than 600-700Cal in one sitting, what got me fat was the snacking in between meals. A handful of chips or nuts every time I passed by the kitchen slowly added up over time.

Doing cico with a focus on low carbs and high protein. About a third of my calories are probably protein shakes at this point as i'm trying to avoid being too protein deprived. Zucchini noodles have been a surprisingly passable pasta replacement, pretty happy with that discovery.

I've been throwing 30 lbs in a backpack and hitting trails with my dogs 5-7 miles a day.

Kinda tempted to try tirz or ret. Half my office is on tirz or ozempic. Seems like retatrutide actually has some metabolic benefits?
>>

You don't need pharmaceuticals. All risk, no reward. Could go blind, get cancer, die, etc. Results in poor body composition (loss of muscle, loss of bone mass).

Your low-carb diet will do the trick. I'd eat whole foods like eggs and meat but whatever the only thing that matters is low-carb. I always end up eating more than enough protein and not enough fat just by eating whole foods. Cooking hamburger and bacon causes so much fat to be lost I have a hard time figuring out how to get dietary fat for hormone health. But if protein shakes work for you to stay low-carb don't worry about it. Low carb is key.

I tend to eat three meals:

- sugar-free bacon and eggs (low sodium bacon tends to be sugar free, check the ingredients)
- hamburger patties with cheese and sauerkraut
- tinned salmon with creme fraiche and dill pickles

If you like making more complicated recipes try getting a dash mini waffle iron. You can make chaffles which are perfect hamburger buns and perfect for breakfast sandwiches.

bellyhangingonmydick here (>>77402521) and I've eaten broccoli for the first time. I had meat, broccoli, potatoes, cauliflowers, and bearnaise sauce on my plate. The broccoli tasted good with the bearnaise sauce. Potatoes were alright. Meat was tender and it tasted great. Cauliflower was a little weird but I'll get used to it.

I might eat that a lot more. I haven't done a lot of research into bearnaise sauce. My goal is mainly a high-protein, moderate fat, low carb diet. I'm going on Wegovy (complain all u want, fags) and I'll go outside a lot more. I might consider going to the gym to maintain my muscle but I'm going on the lowest dose of Wegovy so I have time to make it a habit before I go up a dose (which has a bigger effect on me)

Plan to eat minimum 500g non starchy veges daily with good mix of colors, be mindful of oxalate and goitrogens.
Memorize how 50g,100g,300g of vegetables feels and looks
Make mental notes of how much you've eaten each during day, if you think you are short, stuff a fuckton into dinner, it's easy to tell whether you've eaten around 500g of veges.
Plan for 300-500g of fruit(excluding high calorie dense fruit like avo)
For every fruit you regularly eat get a rough idea of its weight.when estimating round to nearest hundred grams, or measure with a cup.
Set a target for how much oil you will use daily or weekly and try and stick to it.
Try to eat 20-50g of seeds and nuts daily

Build a daily meal plan 3,4 meals 1-3 snacks whatever.. plan the meals around protein dense sources.
Target 200-300g oily low mercury fatty fish a week and stick to it
Aim for 1.2g-1.6g/kg protein daily from animals and plant sources(legumes).
Limit red meat to once a week, same with fried food. Poaching, Sous vide, steaming are the most healthy methods of cooking then its airfrying then pan frying then deep-frying, smoking.
Many vegetables should be/need to be cooked to reduce anti-nutrtients
Seeds and nuts too probably.
High oxalate veges like spinach can cause kidney stones if you eat too much especially when raw.
Take vitamind3 with k2 softgels
Plan to eat 60g-130g wholegrain daily(drweight)

If you overate the previous day don't eat anymore, if you want to maintain or gain weight then eat another 60g-130g+ of wholegrain(dryweight) or anything else has similar amount of calories.

Use cronometer.com with disposable email to see how much nutrients/minerals/macros you are receiving with your current meal plan, it only matters the average nutrients you are receiving over a week or more obviously.

Look these guys were eating random garbage before and they're still alive, there's no need to go all out with min/maxing everything. Just limit yourself to a few basic ingredients like: rice, oatmeal, chicken and vegetables and only use oil for the chicken and it'll be almost impossible to overeat. Combine with weight lifting and you'll lose weight without even trying.

People mainly get fat from eating sugar and oil.

Carbs are your preferred source of energy, limit carbs and you'll have to compensate with an insane amount of meat or your body will burn your muscles for fuel. There's nothing wrong with eating minimally processed carbs like rice, oatmeal and potatoes.
>>
>>77406012
Wrong. Eating carbs causes muscle loss by blocking fat burning.
>>
>>77406022
Fat is your bodys last go to source of fuel which is why it's so fucking hard to get rid of. You can do it gradually or try to do it all at once and end up burning muscle instead.

Alcohol > carbs > protein >fat

This is the heirarchy of what your body uses for fuel and nothing you do will change that.

Fat is easy to get rid of if you just stop eating carbs. Insulin blocks fat burning. Carbs raise insulin.

Muscle loss is caused by eating carbs while restricting calories. Once you run out of carbs if your insulin remains high the body loses muscle because fat is impossible to burn until insulin goes down.

You see, that's kinda the problem, you shouldn't eat so few calories, it makes your body go into starvation mode where it tries to function off less, the way I've consistently lost weight(1kg per week) is by walking 2 hours every day and eating around 2k calories normally, when you put it all in a calculator, I end up in a deficit of roughly ~1000 calories a day

Or I could just eat like normal and workout. I've been through the whole range of diets in the last month, every time I tried to do no carb my performance in everything dropped significantly. My last workout on keto I had to decrease weight by 25% and I could only manage 50% of the reps at best. That was only two days ago, last night and today I ate carbs and just did a workout where I'm back to like 95% of what I was doing before keto. I've tried running on keto before and my performance was like 10% of what it is on carbs.

I get it takes a long time to adapt to using ketones for fuel, but holy shit I can't eat fucking avocados, cheese and chicken for a month straight to start seeing these benefits. And I was producing ketones, my pee tests clearly showed I was in ketosis.

most people who attempt keto really do not understand just how much protein and fat they really need. like i hit plateaus week to week but my protein was too low to get the most out of gluconeogenesis and i simply wasn't eating enough fat. you think it's enough because fat is so satiating but you need to eat 2x that amount especially when you understand the kind of energy spikes you get from simple carbs. you can't match that on keto unfortunately but unless you're an athlete or running a fkn triathlon it's not necessary

"No carb" diets work in the exact same way as "no fat" diets and "don't eat the colour red" diets.
It targets food addiction by limiting the types of food that you eat, which hopefully has the effect of slowing you down and encouraging you to think a little bit before shoving it in.

Low carb diets are arguably healthier for low-activity people than low fat diets, but carbs are still an essential nutrient. I usually just tell people to time their carbs around their physical activity.

This morning I had weet-bix and honey before my run, a carb drink during it, and then added a banana afterwards to my normal breakfast of chia pudding.
But on days when I'm only lifting or not exercising at all, I'll just have my chia pudding, which is mostly fat.

You also make glucose from the glyceride in triglycerides (fat). And drinking some vinegar is another way to get a good quick energy boost.

Anyway fat people aren't eating carbs to support their athleticism. They're making excuses to indulge their carb addiction.

i agree with the bulk of your post but this statement is factually incorrect. you can eliminate carbs completely and live a normal and healthy life (as far as we know. the studies on the effects of someone living until natural death on no carbs is limited), yet you cannot do the same with protein or fat.

They're usually a combination of the amount of energy you burned during the exercise and the amount you would have burned just sitting around, which means they overestimate by quite a bit. And even the exercise calories are just a guess based on pace, duration, and maybe heart rate. At your level, I would just ignore them.

are you working out? if you are losing weight on the scales you are in a deficit, its that simple. if your weight stays the same but your lifts are the same/minor improvements, you are recomping
>>
>>77406422
pretty much my mentality to it. only eat carbs prior to workout at 5am and avoid them otherwise.
>>
>>77406510

560 calories would be like an hour and 15 minutes of running.

>average heart rate 167bpm
>peak heart rate over 180
>walking

How fat are you?
>>
>>77406597
>560 calories would be like an hour and 15 minutes of running.
You mean walking right?
>>
>>77406602
For a normal person, no, 160bpm is hard running. Go look at >>77406127, dudes average while walking is 83bpm, thats normal.
>>
>>77406597
i literally posted my weight in the original post

also fitbit just logged it as walking, it was a mix of jogging and quick-walking
>>
>>77406602
No, I get around 500 calories for an hour of running. My heart rate during that time is similar to the pattern on his chart... except streched out 2x.
>>
>>77406670
>264lbs

Holy shit, yeah 560 calories is probably real, I'm 6ft 165lbs for reference and 500cal takes me an hour.

You're going to need new knees. And maybe a new heart if you took the vax.
>>
>>77406675
really glad i come to /fat/ asking for advice and all i get is some dude going "holy shit you're 264lbs? you're literally going to die"

also my knees and heart feel absolutely fine, i didn't feel winded at all during that session
>>
>>77406677
Then your heart monitor is probably giving false readings, 160bpm you should basically be breathing so hard you cant string words together.

~150 is about the threshold for conversation, and at that point youd be talking *pant* like *pant* this *pant*
>>
>>77406677
I've never been that heavy so I don't really know, my highest was 240lbs, but there does come a point where it's not safe for you to do stuff like that.

And I'm not joking about the vax, the year after covid I thought my heart was going to pop when I went out for a run. It took me basically until now to recover and I still don't push as hard as I used to before.
>>
>>77406683
ive heard fitbits arent super accurate for heart stuff when you're mid-workout so probably
and as far as breathing i felt pretty normal, i was sweating but thats it
>>
>>77406677
Don't listen to them, everyone knows that you were obviously running to get your HR that high. And it isn't going to hurt your knees or your heart.

>t. HR regularly goes above 190 during intervals
>>
>>77406683
>>77406687
also i was mid peak-adderall when i was working out so that probably also heightened my heart rate
>>
>>77406688
That depends on your age, 190 might be ok for you young kids, but once you start getting near middle age that is too high.

>>77406687
>and as far as breathing i felt pretty normal
Then you weren't running and your fitbit is grosly overestimating calories.
>>
>>77406695
>Too high
There is literally no such thing. If you run too fast and your HR gets too high, your heart doesn't explode. You just start involuntarily slowing down.
I'm 32 by the way, I'm not "you young kids".
>>
>>77406687
Sounds closer to zone 1/2, for your age that'd be like 95~120ish bpm
>>
>>77406703
i doubt it's that off, i checked the treadmill HR thing a few times mid-jog and it was also giving me like a 170 number
>>
>>77406709
Heart rate and respiratory rate are usually linked, sure it can be off by a little, but if youre not breathless at 160+bpm, at your age, that sounds wrong. What's your resting heart rate?
>>
>>77406718
sleeping its ~64bpm, at home its about 71, at the office its around 80
>>
As of today, I'm on a 9 day calorie counting streak. None of those days was I below my target calorie limit for -1.5lb/week fat loss, but I was under maintenance for all those days, at least by a little, plus I've walked at least two miles a day every day so far this month.

I've tried more drastic weight loss attempts (OMAD, intermittent fasting, heavier calorie restrictions, etc) but I just didn't have the willpower. It's almost hard to believe that even if it takes a long time, if I keep this up long term, I'll eventually be a normal weight again.
>>
>>77406718
Based on how often he was starting and stopping on that graph >>77406463 it's possible he never got a chance to go into aerobic mode.

Still those readings seem suspect to me. I know when I try to run after a night of drinking my heart rate spikes immediately before my respiratory system can respond, but I also feel like I have no energy and have to drop to walking immediately, and repeat over and over again.

How do i starve myself as a truck driver?
Changing a job isn’t really an option cause it’s my truck and trailer and it’s like 3-4k a week and i’m my own boss so i’m kinda stuck with it.
I wanna be at 155 lbs, 6’2ish and i’m probably in a skinnyfat 198-199lbs territory atm.
I can track calories and try to eat clean but it’s super hard to stick to it on the road with no cooking and most places being fastfood goyslop.
But the real problem is that driving for 10+ hours daily drains you physically and mentally without burning any calories, you gotta eat to keep the energy up or you straight up just start falling asleep, plus it gets boring after a bit and you get addicted to the dopamine hit of the junkfood.

Are there any tricks to force yourself to starve? I need to eat like 1200 calories a day for half a year ideally and stick to a strict diet after that, but fuck me it is hard to keep it up for long periods of time.
Give me your best anorexic mind tricks.

reposting until it is added to the OP
/fat/bros, i think Vitamin D supplementation actually reduces hunger. i'm very deficient in it and us fatties are most likely deficient too because the fat we have steals it.
i've been easily maintaining less than 1500 calories for the past month when i started taking Vitamin D.
the HUNGER i've been suffering from for months is gone even on a high carb low protein diet. i've averaged 166g carbs, 47g protein, and 63g fat in the past month.
please add this to the OP. this is a piss easy way to help with hunger.

hunger associated with Vitamin D deficiency
>Appetite disturbances were significantly associated with increased odds of Vitamin D deficiency, even after controlling for depression and other confounders. However, due to the cross-sectional design, causality cannot be inferred. Prospective studies are needed to clarify this association's directionality and underlying mechanisms.
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1499404625002660

Vitamin D helping in weight loss
>After using vit D supplementation for 6 weeks, WT (weight), WC (waist circumference), and body mass index (BMI) were decreased significantly and serum vit D increased significantly compared to control group
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6071442/

us fatties having lower vitamin D
>High prevalence of vitamin D (VD) deficiency in obese subjects is a well-documented finding, most probably due to volumetric dilution into the greater volumes of fat, serum, liver, and muscle, even though other mechanisms could not completely be excluded, as they may contribute concurrently

Believe it or not, lots of research at high risk for bias like that has had its results repeated by non-manufacturer-sponsored studies later.

Lots of supplements being scams doesn't make them ALL scams, but there is really a major difference between D2 and D3 with the former being legit toxic and the later only toxic at very high doses, especially when other vitamins/minerals are deficient.
>>
>>77406970
if it works, it works. if you can stick to your diet easily enough, you don't have to supplement Vitamin D.
but it made night and day difference for me. my past month is sitting at 1296 calories instead of 1407 since i've been maintaining even lower with ease. this week is sitting at 1100 so far.

>if you can stick to your diet easily enough, you don't have to supplement Vitamin D.
If your diet has a decent bit of vitamin D fortified foods and/or a lot of salmon plus mushrooms yeah, but most people tend to be a ways off optimal levels when they get blood tested, it's a very common deficiency.
>>
>>77406982
>it's a very common deficiency
exactly. especially in us fatties. this is why this needs to be in the OP.

>>77406506

explain why my number on the scale hasn't moved a single point while fasting for the last 16 days out of 21 and eating at maintenance on the days i eat then
>>
>>77406960
First study directly says it cannot be used to establish causality.

Second has a small sample size (26 intervention and 27 control). Additionally, no controlled diet. Food records are hideously unreliable for studies.

Third study is the same as the first, it only establishes there MIGHT be a casual relationship between vitamin D and obesity.

The evidence of a casual relationship just isn't there.

Note: I do think you should supplement vitamin d if you're deficient. Usually, thats when the UV index is low because you fatties should go outside and walk anyways. This is just to prevent a deficiency because a vitamin d deficiency does produce modest health negatives.
>>
>>77407003
If your refeed days have a lot of carbs, glycogen is a likely reason. Fasting is very physiologically stressful, so you likely have increased hormones like cortisol that increases water retention.

Carrot 40 cal
Kiwi 45 cal

Its about 140g of protein too. Also having potassium, omega3 and magnesium supplements.

Your bait needs work. I drink 7 or 8 2Ls of diet soda a week, the cheap store brand $1 bottles. Shit is great.

I mean I'm still losing weight at least but I genuinely feel like doing nothing, planned to practice drawing but I just can't do it, I wanted to do some cardio but it started raining hard so I didn't go, I'm contemplating SSRI's, but I don't think it's a good idea in the long-term or short-term at all

I wish I was baiting. I use a SodaStream, and get the Pepsi Max syrups. I'll go through a cylinder of gas and 7 of the syrups in about 5/6 days. If I'm really busy in a day it'll be lower, but I'll drink loads at night. If I'm hone all day just gaming i will easily drink well into the teen litres.

I worry about the artificial sweeteners and dyes more than the volume. It's amazing i don't have kidney stones

watching 600lbs life is funny cause often the family members are extremely obese too but mobile and talk about the 600lbs person that they use food for comfort etc.

I gotta say, adding avocados to my diet has given me some of the cleanest shits I've ever had in my life. It's like fat and fiber were meant to work together.

My 50 year old mother is fixing her diet so I don’t have to meal prep at all. Take that normgroids :)

Remember to stay carnivore and stay healthy /fat/ friends.

I like it when people succeed. You can tell if they will make their weigh-in based entirely on whether they follow the low carb advice. The ones who eat carbs never make it.

am I the only whale here to never drink soda as a kid? or have had an addiction to it? all I drank was lemon water, milk or gatorade during sports practice
>>

Soda does seem to be a common treat, even my dad had it as a kid in the 50s and 60s and they were poor. Still I didn't grow up fat because I had some soda on the weekends, it was the raw amount of food I shovelled into my face that did it. Never went to McDonalds, only ate cake on birthdays etc.

yeah, cake was a rarity I wasn't a confectionery fiend for soft drinks or generic candy but my family hoarded a lot of other junkfood my fatass zoned in on (doritos, jax, goldfish, peanut butter crackers, entire freezer full of pizza etc) and mountains of bulk-bought shelved carbs. them constantly ordering out every other night definitely got the wrong ball rolling at a young age too, I developed the habit of stuffing my face out of boredom because there wasn't much to do where I lived. fill up a tubberware container full of slop go game or binge a show.

Anyone else tried eating once every 48 hours? I'm currently on day 15 and my energy levels on the second day went from feeling exhausted to ~70% normal.
I think another week or two and my body will get used to the cycle. The only reason I'm doing it this way is because of a lower willpower requirement. Once I actually start eating I find it really difficult to stop before I'm fully satiated and If I do force myself to moderate my portion in any reasonable capacity I'm left feeling irritated and distracted for the rest of the day. So instead of eating 1300 kcal meal every day I eat 2600 kcal meal every other day. After having the huge dinner I feel great and happy pretty much untill the ending of the following day, but by that point I'm already falling asleep and stores are closed - so all I have to power through is the day shift with the knowledge that as soon as I finish my work I get to eat like a king.
Dunno works for now, will update in a week

I did that years ago. Eat every other day. Worked pretty well until I stopped doing it desu. Helped me with resetting my hunger levels.
It can just all go to shit when social elements come into play.

Ultimately the key was slow and steady. The longer I stayed on a smaller calorie deficit and the longer I did consistent short workouts the better. I also noticed a significant loss after going on CPAP and another after cutting seed oils. I know the latter is a bit of a meme but I found it helped a lot.
This will be my last post. You shitheads won't be missed.

ive only been working out for a week and i already feel better about myself and proud im making a change
typically how long is it before you start seeing significant changes to your body? im at a -500 to -750 diet and im taking creatine alongside strength training
>>
>>77407003
maybe you should get the hint and stop doing retarded shit that stresses your body so much for no reason whatsoever.
>>
>>77408597
don't even bother looking for change until 6 months

>>77408635

eating slop after a strict diet of mostly microwaved potatoes is an eye opener on how unfulfilling slop is.
anyway, my week deficit is ruined most likely.

A fat person dunking on people trying to genuinely improve themselves is not a good look.
