I am very skinny right now. Would this plan (doing A and B) x2 per week each, with a rest day in between work well?

I used AI to make the plan and dumped a bunch of info for the kind of stuff I want to focus on (mainly shoulders, arms, neck, chest) - is the plan any good or crap?
>>
>9 exercises
>>
>>77407087
how many would you recommend?
i thought this would take like 1 hour or so
>>
>>77407090
Go to the gym 3 or 4 times a week and do some kind of press or pec/delts just about every session. Just do that so that you get stronger at bench and throttle how much you do everything else since it's way easier to build literally anything except for presses.
>>
>>77407091
won't that be very uneven then? bear in mind i am a beginner and skinny right now, with only OK biceps
>>
>>77407094
You work on the imbalances while using that as a base. It is easier to catch up on anything but pressing.
>>
>>77407064
This is bait right? Just asking Ai for a simple routine gives you the basics. This is just you failing to use the easiest tool ever created.
>>
>>77407094
Oh and if you think you're starting to get rhabdo then stop entirely and slowly reintroduce the weight. 3-4x when bulking but know when to slow down.
>>
>>77407100
Ai is based off of the opinion of 1000 gay retards
>>
>>77407100
Ok so what should I do instead? or what should I ask it instead?
>>
Everyone is saying it's bad, but why? too many exercises? wrong stuff? bad ai prompt (it was long with a lot of info I got from web and forums)?

what should I change?
>>
>>77407133
Just do sl5x5 or ss and focus on compound lifts if you're just starting out. All those isolation machines are nice as supplementary work or eg biceps. Doing a whole circuit of those as your primary workout is a noob trap.
>>
>>77407137
>Just do sl5x5 or ss and focus on compound lifts
isn't that more for building strength? i dont really give a shit about strength, just aesthetic
>>
>>77407432
Anon ignore that man. Ask chatgpt the following exactly:
>generate me a workout routine. I am a complete beginner who has access to a commercial gym. ask me questions if needed.
Then answer its questions. Done. Avoid anyone telling you to do starting strength or anything involving the consumption of a gallon of milk a day
>>
>>77407064
Wait so are you working out 2 or 4 times a week? You have barely any leg work. Legs grow fast, especially for a beginner, you should exploit that. By the same token I wouldn't waste an exercise on neck isolation yet. You'll get some neck work from shoulder work. Same goes for rear delts. Also you have barely any back work. Yeah this is shit.

Just do a normal upper-lower routine, like Lyle McDonal'ds generic bulking routine or something similar.

Its a very Long workout. You probably wont enjoy it, will over work yourself and quit after two weeks.
You should start by learning the Basics.
Build a Routine of working out in your life.
Ideale you start with body weight exercices from Home and Jogging.
If you made This Part of you life and you want to go further, join a gym and start a beginner Programm to learn the Basic Lifts Like starting strenght or greyskull lp.

If you have Build a solid strenght and Knowledge base you Chose your own path from there.

3-4 times per week. I know it doesn't exactly fit the A,B thing, but it will be workout A one time, then B next time.
>Just do a normal upper-lower routine
what does that look like?
>>
>>77407471
You don't have to treat this as gospel but something with this general shape. If there's an exercise you don't like just replace it with a different one that targets the same muscle. Also just do 2-3 sets to failure for everything, 1.5 - 2 minutes rest.

I do. Have done for 6 months now every other day. No jogging because I am already skinny and not sure what the point would be

Great! So you have the disciplin and habbit.
Joggin is Great for an Overall Fitness and cardiovascular function. I would reccomend to aim for 5k in 30 min once a Week.

For starting in the gym i would reccomend you greyskull lp.

Build your base of strenght. After you feel comftable and have decent numbers Switch to a more asthetic Routine.
>>
>>77407064
the anons telling you to do compounds are right but you don't have to listen to them
if you want to give that routine you came up with a shot go for it
my suggestions would be to shave a set off everything and go to the gym 3x week
push as much as you can without injuring yourself
this is the phase where you build long term habits so you should do whatever you like more as long as it gets you into the weight room
you won't lose anything by tackling the more strength/compound based novice routines (like >>77407493) in a month or 3
>>
>>77407432
If you just want aesthetics without strength just pop a bunch of roids jfc ngmi
>>
>>77407507
And Listen to this anon.
Make your workouts as fun as possible.
The suboptimal workout your actualy doing Beats the Perfect workout your Not Doing.
Find your own way.

squat, chins, dips

deadlift, chins, dips

do the compound 3x5 then do 3 sets of amraps for chins and dips, alternating. increase weight on the compound when you succeed. once that gets hard, alternate light and heavy weeks

do not do leg press, rdls, bss, anything like that instead of the heavy compound. learn to brace, use a belt, use shoes and knee sleeves for squat. if you can't do dips, do push ups. if you can't do chins, do negatives.
>>
>>77407633
Based Minimalist strenght workout.
I Like it.

But its more for someone who trains an actual Sport 2-3 Times a Week to Build strenght on the Side, Not for a beginner aiming for asthetics.
>>
>>77407064
Fuck man just do
Squats
Bench
OHP
pull ups.

>No jogging because I am already skinny and not sure what the point would be
You sound incredibly deluded throughout this whole thread. As though doing bicep curls rather than chin ups will magically give you massive biceps, and as though the only thing that matters in life is getting jacked.
The usual story is, anybody who goes into it with your mindset quits after a few months. Because unless you're on gear, the visible changes genuinely take years to show. And then what happens after you finally decide that you're happy with your body? Do you just give up and never exercise again?

Do this stuff for yourself and for your health. Whatever you do, aim to do it for the rest of your life. And most of all, remember that absolutely NOTHING you do here will help you get laid.

Anyway, the reason why literally everybody tells you to focus on big compounds like squats is because you can progress them. Especially as a beginner, you won't be able to get enough intensity with your meme shit like hammer curls and dumbbell shrugs. And the jumps between weights are too high, so you won't ever make progress. The way you get bigger is by getting stronger, this is a fact. And the way you get stronger (as a beginner) is by lifting heavier weights every single session. You can do that with deadlifts for quite a long time, but you'll hit the wall with lateral raises within the first week. I've been doing this for a long time, so I have the discipline to keep going with the same weight of lateral raises every session for years at a time. But you don't have that habit built up yet, so you'll get bored and give up if you have no way of measuring your progress.

The best program posted ITT is this one.

Most of my workouts are still very similar to this, but with a few accessories at the end. I also do landmine press rather than OHP and weighted dips rather than bench press, both just because I have iffy shoulders.
