is it good to master Push Ups and Pull Ups (and other bodyweight exercises) before joining a gym?
One should master their body weight before adding any form of resistance training. This is how the Soviets did it
>>77407589Dips and pullups are the only decent beginner calisthenics
>>77407593Pushups are super duper gay
>>77407589It'll smooth your transition but it's not necessary.>>77407601>Fatty detected
>>77407593>resistance trainingpush/pull ups are resistance training
>>77407593The soviets were retarded and took a "break as many athletes as possible until one survives our program and is a gifted genetic freak" never ever look to the soviets for anything
>>77407589You actually don’t need a gym if you just spam these with variations and add in inverted rows + dips
>>77407609Calisthenics is easy and I'm fat. Oh shucks wat am I even talking about, calisthenics is the most important thing to getting massive. >takes off shirt and twirls it
No you'll stay DYEL and imbalanced you dumb faggot
>>77407640There is no Russian "person" alive who I couldn't knock out in 5 seconds with one hand tied behind my back literally
>>77407589not at all. you can go to the gym right away. most people can't even do a dip or a pull up and the gym can help them work towards that
>>77407593Based
>>77407654Time for dip arc
>>77407593the soviets made athletes by treating them like bovine kek
>>77407589It will obviously helpIMO it is better to start with calisthenics to get a feel for the muscles in your body, it will make you more mobile & make you feel better about yourself
i started doing pullups again and gave my self tendenonitis. in one arm. never had this happen before. i gained back my old strength fast due to muscle memory but i think my tendons werent ready for the volume
>>77407589If you can't find a gym or it's expensive, body weight squats and pushups are pretty good at conditioning you for weighted movements for a few weeks. After a while they'll no longer be that difficult
