>>77408171/fpbpSadly tuna in 2026 is literally toxic, all over the globe, no exceptions.https://www.bloomassociation.org/en/mercury-contamination-bloom-exposes-a-health-scandal-on-an-unprecedented-scale/
>>77408453>no exceptions.Safecatch is a bougie-ass brand that does per-batch testing. But it takes a decent bit of tuna to get mercury poisoning unless you happen to some single horribly contaminated fish that's probably all dark-looking; eating it occasionally isn't that bad.>>77408192forgot the obligatory>.rJ KFR t.
I finally tried sardines after seeing them recommended here for years. Tried about two dozen brands/styles to find what I liked and wood-smoked sardines are by far the best. A tin of these and a cup of cottage cheese at 1pm is my first meal of the day after working out fasted. They’re not as protein-dense as tuna for the calories, but a big dose of all the good fats. Diet-wise, the Greeks are definitely onto something. 0% Greek yogurt and a squirt of honey is my whenever “dessert”
