Diet+exercise is God's only anointed way of losing weight, how many times do we have to learn this lesson?
>>
>be total retard
>start retatrutide at high dose and keep escalating
>presumingly get gastroparesis
I stopped 10 days ago and this shit is only slowly getting better. But to be fair I also suspect I have h plyori even if the stool test is negative and took other meds that may have affected my stomach.
Anyway I think I might switch over to tirzepatide once this gets better. Way cheaper and better for inflammation and heart rate too.

Why do you post screencaps of twitter posts from literal whos and not the original source?
Did you know that people who post misinformation on the internet have higher rates of cancer deaths?
>>
>reached goal weight

>>
>>77420467
It's just one of the several anti-GLP blokes who always shit up the threads, don't worry too much about it. They'd rather people be fat and unhealthy instead of using available tools to look and feel their best.
>>77420464
Yeah Reta is great but it does play with your heart rate a fair bit. I was on Tirz for a while, but the nausea got too intense. I just upped my Reta to 5mg 12 days ago and it's so far the sweet spot.
>>
>>77420428
Lmao I saw someone describing it as "eating your bones". It's incredible how stupid you people are.
>>
>>77420428
>Diet+exercise is God's only anointed way of losing weight
Yeah what do you think GLPs induce lmao fucking retarded nigger

>>77418961
Literally, how it works. It's why people get the side effect the more they take. The main tradeoff with Ozempic is growing risk of nausea to suppress your appetite. I don't get why you're posting here if you don't get that. If we're going to seriouspost here obvious that is a majorly simplified explanation and it does other things (which trigger the nausea lol) and can fuck with dopamine etc etc. Not worth getting into here, if you understand this shit you know what I mean if you don't you're arguing with me.

>>77419385
>Meanwhile tirzepatide is literally proven in studies to have a higher side effect rate than semaglutide,
Yeah bro, the dual agonist has more side effects than the single agonist. Ground breaking research. The GIP will give you some reflux. Depends on the person how pronounced that effect is. You can also lose weight faster on it so you can get worse rapid weight loss side effects. It's no surprise that it would have a longer side effect list.
>at the cost of superior weight loss/appetite suppressio and A1c control
This is the whole point to using it. You can use a lower dose and get less GLP1 side effects, at the cost of possibly getting the GIP side effect which isn't even really that bad
>>
>>77420464
It's got a long ass half life so yeah it's gonna be a long time to resolve if you started with a dose that's 2x too high. If it's your first time on a GLP I would try 1mg for 4 weeks then 2.5 then depending on how effective that is either go up to 3.5 or 4 and then to 5. If you're at 5 and it's still not working you could go to 8. They've gone higher in trials IIRC but not really worth it. At that point you need to fix your diet.

>>77420475

>>
>>77419976
any non-turbofatties taking reta? I started just 1mg a week at around 15% bf 200lbs. I'm down to 12% and have increased my dose to 2mg a week and bro literally how the fuck am I supposed to get enough protein in? Having even one meal is a struggle. Concerned about losing lean mass
>>
>>77421110
I've heard reta is not good unless you're fat because its glucagon action can cause dysregulation or something idk
Just stick with tirz or do dnp desu
>>
>>77421110
If you're getting results why are you increasing the dose dummy? If you can't get in enough protein at 2mg just drop it back down to 1. If you just want appetite suppression then tirz should help more. Many people find its effects on appetite superior to reta.

>>77421192
It's kinda a wildcard right now. You'd think that it would be great at the end of a cut due to it keeping BMR elevated by preventing metabolic adaptation. But it just fucks with so much stuff at once. Elevated heart rate messing with recovery, probably sleep and cortisol too.
>>
>>77421231
Thanks for the overview, I need to brush up on my pharmacology. Reta is a triple agonist of GLP-1, GIP-1, and glucagon right? And tirz is just the first two?
>>
>>77421245
Correct.
Glucagon raises your resting energy expenditure and forces the liver to burn stored fat for fuel instead of storing it, hence why I personally still have carbs. GLP-1 slows digestion and reduces food cravings, and GIP improves insulin control and nutrients processing.
I personally found that Reta only became effective for me over 4mg, and even then, the food noise suppression wasn't as strong as Tirz. I'm currently on both 5mg Reta every six days and 2.5mg of Tirz every 7 days, and it's extremely effective. I have contemplated switching Tirz out and trying Cagrilintide, as it's not a GLP-1 and is apparently insanely fucking OP with food noise reduction.

>>
got insane diarrhea and constipation. not sure if it's because i started trenbolone or i accidently pinned my reta two days in a row.
>>
>>77421245
Yes

>>77421272
GIP slows gastric emptying as well. This can cause some acid reflux. I get little hiccups from it a few times a day but not enough that acid surfaces. Dieting itself improves insulin control and nutrient processing.

Btw, don't you already have basically no food noise? I can't even bring myself to purchase shit I would normally buy like outside of food even. I've spent way less the past few months. I get bored of stuff like chips which before I loved and would just finish the bag in one sitting. Now I can have like half before it starts to taste dull and I just give up.

Cagrilintide absolutely needs to be buffered with acid or it will form amylin fibrils/aggregates and you will get some mystery prion disease decades down the line. I mean that's probably the fate of all peptide trannies injecting chinesium into their bodies but cagrilintide is virtually guaranteed if you don't reconstitute it properly. Also the calcitonin agonism presents some bone density issues.

I literally just can't do carbs. Even on a high dose of GLP they make me crave more and I end up binging.
Keto/carnivore + 7.5mg tirz and 0.5mg cagri feels like a literal cheat code. I do not think about food at all.

I have a pen of Mounjaro in my fridge. Haven't touched it yet.

I'm already 13% body fat and the plan was to break through to 10% or even single-digit.

But I don't want to be on this forever, and the rebound hunger will probably have me binge eat back to 13% anyway.

So what's the point? Is there a strategic way to cycle this stuff to stay shredded? Don't want to bulk.
>>
>>77421110
I am so fucking jealous of you hyper responders. I have binged 6k kcals on 15mg Mounjaro.
>>
Whenever I do injection around the stomach area I end up feeling soreness for days in that spot. Anybody else have this? It's not terribly painful and there doesn't seem to be any signs of infection or major swelling or inflammation. Just the spot feels a bit tender deeper under the skin, as if I had done an ab workout targeting just one ab.
>>
>>77422503
for context I'm at 2.5mg zepbound 1x/wk
>>
>>77422357
Most people follow a bulk/cut program. So yeah you're going to have to hop back on it once you're done your bulk. If you weren't born with the right genetics to be okay sitting at 10% (most people aren't) then you will need to compensate. The only other thing you can do to help is taking something that boosts your test.

>>77422484
What in the fuck? On 5mg tirzepatide I can barely eat more than 2 protein cookies in the morning. Tell your doc this and get on zepbound if you can.

>>77422503
Uhhhh no. Are you injecting pharma grade stuff or chinese stuff? The only thing I can think of is what you're injecting not being pure and sterile. You could try taking an antihistamine. I only got injection site soreness with Tesamorelin and GHK Cu. Everything else I don't feel a thing if I hit the right spot. Which reminds me I gotta pin some today
>>
>>77422559
lt's from Lilly Direct. and i don't feel the pain or anything until the next day/few days after injection. There's a slightly discolored spot around the injection site right now. When I did thigh injections I didn't have any residual soreness
>>
>>77422587
That's interesting, might just be a histamine reaction then. When I was injecting GHK Cu sometimes the pain went away after an hour or so sometimes it lasted most of the day. I just started taking claritin and stopped being sore from the injection. Maybe try that once to see if it makes a difference.
>>
>>77422607
Alright, I've got some allegra I'll take one today since my next dose is today. I've also heard it helps to let the injection come up closer to room temp for 30-60 minutes before injection.
>>
>>77421110
take less you retard
>>
>>77422634
Yeah I've heard the same thing about the temperature but in my experience either it was a compound that didn't cause discomfort or it was one that did and nothing would help other than an antihistamine. Good luck man, let us know if that helps.
>>
>>77422718

Thanks anon! I mean it really doesn't seem like a histamine type response, but I took my allegra and we'll see if that changes things. The soreness isn't like your typical histamine reaction of a little hive and itchiness, it's really like a muscular pain feeling. Like I took a shit earlier and bearing down to get the last bit out, the tension in the abs made the soreness spike a little bit. Again it's not agonizing pain, but it almost feels like a pulled muscle tension kind of pain? I don't really know how to describe it, sharp but relatively mild.
>>
>>77422726
No problem, and yeah it's tough to say if it actually is. It was weird though with the GHK Cu it was like an injection site and area pain that just went away if I took a claritin. I think I had the same sensation as you but hard to tell 100%. Worth a shot at least.

Just to double check since you mentioned your abs, are you injecting to the side of your belly button offset by an inch or two? That's where I have the most fat so it's easy to pinch and elevate away. I've found the area where I don't feel anything basically so I'm always pinning there since it's an insulin needle and not likely to scar bad.
>>
>>77422737
Not that anon, but how's GHK going?
I want to do KLOW80 and was curious about how GHK is working fot hair gain and skin care.
>>
>>77422755
I was taking GLOW and I didn't really notice much change personally. Maybe it helped recovery a little, my shoulder gets fucked but I think it's partially inflammation (where KLOW would probably give max results). Skin wise, my skin has always sucked. I had cystic acne as a teen so I have some scarring, it's nothing crazy but for all the hype I wished it actually did something noticeable. Maybe I will have to try again but take detailed before/after pics.

It's a pain in the ass because you're supposed to inject GHK Cu 2-3 times a day. Sticking myself that many times got old fast. These are per the instructions of some guy who worked with the guy that researched (I think discovered) GHK Cu. So that's basically the most accurate info from someone who actually was working with it.

So if I were taking it for the first time I would say, write down what your pain levels are and journal it when you take it. Take pics of your face and hair before you take it then start taking pictures weekly to see if it's having the desired effect. Some people apparently get good results other get negative results.
>>
>>77422737

Yeah I injected about 3" down and to the right of the belly button. I'm gonna try left side this time and if I still get sore I may just switch to thigh.
>>
>>77422503
are you sure you're not hitting the muscle? make sure its only going into fat, not muscle
>>
>>77422826
Might also want to try inline but left/right 2-3 inches. I haven't injected it that low ever. My sweet spot is a small area in line with the bottom of my belly button 2 inches away.

>>77422827
That's kinda what I was wondering but insulin needles are super shallow
>>
>>77422782
Cheers m8, I'll keep note when I start

>>
File: file.png (375 KB, 768x1002)

>>77422503
if you're having soreness you might be injecting outside the recommended area, make sure it's at least 2 inches from the belly button so you're injecting into the more 'cushioned' part of your stomach

I've exclusively been doing stomach injections of Zep and haven't had any soreness so far
>>
>>77423052
It helps, but I still need to exercise a ton of willpower to lose weight on it. I've never had the insane suppression some people get, I can and do very easily eat through the medication. Low responder. All the GLPs are like that for me, retatrutide is literally useless. It makes me hungrier, literally ravenous for sugar.
>>
>>77423085
brother im like that too, its not magic for me but it takes the edge off a little. i think these people talking about how amazing it is and how they can barely eat are brand new to it or never tried dieting normally in their life
>>
>>77423085
Shit dude sorry to hear. They keep coming out with variants, maybe CagriSema will work when it comes out. That one I think focuses on hunger itself.

>>77423098
Sorry it hasn't been helping for you man. I've done it both ways and I don't think I will be doing much dieting without it in the future. I ate 1300 calories M-F for months and it was miserable. I'd set myself back half the weekends with cravings. I did everything to manage hunger. Intermittent fasting, eating filling shit like sugar free jello, 0% fat greek yogurt, tuna. Just under 50% of my weight loss was natural at this point. It's amazing because without it I would be thinking about food constantly, my stomach would hurt constantly, I would be hungry after eating target calories.

The not being able to eat thing is real. The thought of food just starts to make you sick after you've eaten enough. It's like you've become those ARFID freaks who cry about eating a salad. I'm far more clear headed about my cravings and just don't really feel the need to buy what I crave. If I have chips they can sit on my desk for several days. I bought some halo top ice cream a few weeks ago and forgot it existed for a week. I would have never been able to hold myself back before I started taking 5mg of tirzepatide. I can still out eat it, you should be able to do this still. But I would have to be intentional about what I eat to accomplish this goal (pure slop). Could probably drink olive oil to go over maintenance with ease. Eating healthy foods I can't eat more than maintenance.
>>
It's been two days since I sent ETH to the Chinaman and my reta hasn't shipped yet. I think those peptide slants are gonna screw me.
