Is tracking your weight possible when you have health issues and take medication?>Diarrhea temporarily lowers your weight>gut issues temporarily raise your weight>gasses temporarily raises your weight>dehydration temporarily lowers your weight>salt cravings temporarily raise your weight>etc etcI have no idea how much I would weigh right now if I had normal health? And are my weight fluctuations due to changes in medication/ heath status or is it actually changing? Should I stop dieting until I finish treatment?
>>77421842What is the medication for? If you’re having so many issues, you should get the prescription changed.
>>77421842most decent apps nowadays can figure out your weight trend based on a daily scale measurementsbut if you're on looney meds just give up on life honestly
>>77421842You’re measuring change over time, anon. Not day-to-day, but week-to-week and month-to-month. Over a long enough time period the variance evens out and you get a measurement that is directionally accurate relative to your previous weight. If you want real accuracy, shell out for a DEXA scan to baseline your body fat and then use the Navy method to remeasure periodically.
