I'm sick of buying overpriced whey. what's the cheapest way to hit 200g/day?
>>77422601>schneiderhmmmmmmmmYou boys like gynecomastia?
>>77422601Tins of tuna are cheap my nigga. Or they are in UK at least, not sure where you live though. Also egg noodles are very cheap and usually around 7g a serving (of course a grown man will be having at least 2 servings a meal, so 14g really). Regular eggs are good too.Tip for you though, you don't need anywhere near 200g protein a day lol. 1g per pound of LEAN mass, and I seriously doubt you're an IFBB pro.
>>77422601Damn, I know onions is completely alien to my evolutionary diet and thus I have no adaptation towards it but I read this paper and I have been convinced of its health benefits. Just goes to show why science is important because sometimes facts aren't based in logic or common sense.
>>77422601A pint of cottage cheese is around 60-70g protein for $2-3US. A half pound of chicken breast is another 60g or so and that's under $1.50.A pint of cottage cheese and a pound of chicken breast is like $5 for around 180-200gr protein and still only around 1000 total calories.
>>77422642I'd rather scrape my teeth with a fork
>>77422605>1g per pound of LEAN massit's 2g per kg of total body mass if you're not a lardass
>>77422601A couple blocks of ȚΟꟻȔ per week will not tr00n u out, however eating very many will.
>>77422601>have been staples in asia for centuriesuh-huh, and look what leviathan-cocked gigachads they arefor me it's dairy mostly.meat trimmings are great value, aldi does 400g of turkey, chicken, ham, on rare occasions beef deli meat trimmings for like 3 quid tops.>>77422794TWOg per kg? I thought it was 1g?I weight 90ish kg and I get about 100g a day. double that seems way overkill unless you're going pro.
>>77422601
>>77422605>Tins of tuna The ones I'm seeing have about 20g protein and not much in the way of fats or anything else
>>77422642>eat the cheapest, barely palatable shit>die of cancer at 40
>>77422801>tofuYeah not bad although not huge amounts of protein even if you eat the whole block. Definitely go with the firm or extra firm. There's also tempeh if it's available nearby and you can take the flavour. I get 400g blocks quite cheaply that contain about 80g protein on 800kcal.
There are a few things in life that are vital to your survival and well beingFood/waterSleep / shelterWalk Why the fuck would you skimp on any of these? Good food, good bed, good shoes will improve your QOL more than anything else in the world. You can afford to spend more money on food
>canned tuna>canned chicken breast>the biggest pack of chicken breast you can find (freeze it)>chicken thighs>milk>greek yogurt>cottage cheese>skyrand if you're willing to include plant protein (look up what protein profiles compliment one another)>beans>peas>whole grains>lentilsthey're varying degrees of cheapness but if you're trying to squeeze out every gram of protein you can these are foods that people ate before everyone and their mother was chugging scoops of powder and driving up the prices. find foods that you like and just eat more of them.
>>77422601post body
>>77422817Then what do you suggest eating instead?
quark or greek yogurt is cheap and easy to consume. a 500g meal is 50-60 protons. drink milk with it to handle the sour taste sissyboy.
