Sleep is important for recovery, which I understand.
But I keep having broken, interrupted sleep, often waking up after a couple of hours then being unable to sleep for another hour. It's annoying. What can be done to resolve this?

I keep having broken sleep too. Wild animals keep trying to break into my house at night, which wakes me up. I aslo have bad tinnitus and cant get back to sleep if I wake up in the middle of the night. I need to move into an apartment in the middle of the city I think.

Melatonin for 6 weeks until your circadian rhythm is fixed.

Just go back to sleep after waking up.

You will never have good quality sleep until you completely quit caffeine. Even a small dose in the morning is enough to mess it up.

You might not like it, and there will be addicts telling you it's not a big deal, but that's just how it is.
You consume a toxic liquid that fucks with your brain chemistry, you pay the price.

>toxic liquid
I think you'll find that a moderate amount of coffee, just like a moderate amount of wine, leads to lower all-causes mortality rates. Perhaps you and op need to relax a bit?

Sleep mask and white noise.

Stay off your phone in bed, don't masturbate in bed, don't watch tv in bed, dont even touch your bed until it's time for bed.

Stop eating 2 hours before you sleep, take a magnesium complex 2 hours before sleep. Eventually this will train your brain thay bed and parallel position are for sleep and sleep only.

When you wake up. No cell phone, no caffine, no nicotine, no nap for at least 2 hours upon waking. Do something else.

possibly check if you have sleep apnea
it's usually a fat person disease but I think sleep position and genetics can make some people predisposed to it

>leads to lower all-causes mortality rates.
Worthless correlation nonsense with no causal link. Just like the rest of epidemiology, a complete pseudoscience.
Caffeine is a toxin that constricts your blood vessels, kills your gut microbiome and dehydrates you.
That's an established, easily observable fact that no amount of manufactured correlations can debunk.

Goatpiss, shouldn't you be in jail? No one is going to join your death cult, drink blood and eat raw animal flesh. Go be a fag on telegram.

This

But also take 10g of glycine (test 2g first; 10% of the population get the reverse effect n becone awake) it'll knock u out hard as fuck n chill u down.

Aswagandha if you're feeling stressed, KSM66 is the one most used for sleep but I imagine most of them are similar in effect.

>Nap during lunch
>Fall asleep around 2-3am
>Crash and sleep 1-5 hours immediately after work
>Fall asleep at 2-3am
>Do neither, do both
>Fall asleep at 2-3am
I only sleep well when there's no work next day and it sucks.

You'll still have the same wild animal problem
>>

What keeps you from falling back to sleep? In my case it's racing mind. I solve this by turning it to a passive state, paying attention to something, not letting it the initiative of mental content. I turn on a podcast which is the right level of interesting and most of the time fall back to sleep to grown-up bedtime stories. Worst case I have mild entertainment and learn a thing or two.

Don't eat or drink anything four hours before bed. Don't consume caffeine eight hours before bed. Don't drink alcohol.

If you are fat you might have sleep apnea and need to use a CPAP machine
