PLEASE tell me you aren't drinking water without blasting it with UV first.
>>
>>77433311
Sounds gay, looks gay, OP is gay.
>>
tried this and now my esofagus is sunburnt. thanks asshole
>>
I exclusively drink coke zero; UVs have no power here
>>
>>77433321
Have you tried UV blasting your coke zero? Checkmate atheist
>>
>>77433311
I wish cities used UV for water treatment instead of chlorine and chloramine but I don't see the point of using UV on your own water unless you're drinking out of a pond.
>>
>>77433325
Maybe OP is indian
>>
>>77433321
So you are fat AND gay.
>>
>>77433358
Canadian, so not far off these days.
>>
>>77433311
Nice scam. UV only penetrates around one inch of water. If you want to sterilize water with UV you need to have a small tube with flowing water blasted with UV as it passes. This bottlecap thing is absolute dogshit.
>>
>>77434122
Wouldn't that one inch be the first part I drank? What if I swirled it?
>>
>>77433311
>UV
awesome, something trying to actually disinfect my-
>-C
oh it's a cheap flashlight kek
>>
sunlight charges water up and structures it so your body recognizes it
>>
>>77435656
>charges water up
sunlight does no ionize water though
>and structures it
thermal energy is associated with lack of order though
>so your body recognizes it
there are no receptors in your body that are dependent on water being in the solid phase though
it's incredible how many stupid things you said in such a short message
>>
>>77435663
hah aha
you think I mean scientifically?
It's spiritual baby
>>
>>77435666
>those digits
confirmed cursed, I ain't touchin` that fucking sun charged bullshit

>UV-C doesn't kill bacteria
???
>>
>>77433325
This anon's right. Most people who'd post here or see this thread don't need to worry about bacteria in their water, they need a carbon and RO system to take out all the shit their municipality already used to kill the bacteria.
>>
>not using a clay pot which improves the water

shorter wavelengths like UV rays (and especially UV-C) cant penetrate water as easily as longer wavelengths. you can only purify the top layer of water with UV-C and cities need to purify thousands of gallons an hour.
>>
>>77435669
Correct, only UV-A or B
>>
snanke oil

Now you're telling me those American commies are trying to tell me fucking snake oil of all things is bad for you?
>>
>>77435712
does this enhance the taste?
>>
>>77436333
it is literally the opposite you dumbfuck
most of the UV rays that make it through the atmosphere are UV-A. by this logic bateria would all die if exposed to the sun.
>>
>>77439584
It's about penetration depth and exposure time. All UV (A, B, and C) can kill bacteria, but C is absorbed by the water before it can reach the bacteria. UV A is the weakest for killing bacteria (takes the longest) but it penetrates the water deeper.
>by this logic bateria would all die if exposed to the sun.
It is, just slower than if UV-C made it through.
>>
>>77433311
I buy a small plastic bottle from the store then just refill it once it starts looking yucky.
The water in my country is also actually clean so I have less to worry about.

Everyday is immune system day bruh
>>
>>77439584
>by this logic bateria would all die if exposed to the sun
but they do, retard-kun
all types of UV kill bacteria, the difference is the time it takes
bacteria survive in general only because they hide from UV radiation inside hosts or other places the sun cannot reach, that is one of the reasons people get sick less often in the summer

Bottle is like 3 inches in diameter, a 3x1 inch cylinder of water is about 116ml, so unless you only drink that much before waiting for your bottle to treat some new water that won't work.
While tilting the bottle to drink you'll inevitably mix up the water, therefore ingesting spooky untreated water with your safe clean water.
Not saying it doesn't work at all, just that you'd be better off doing something else if you want clean water.
Plus most places in the developed world have safe drinking water straight from the tap so that UV gimmick isn't gonna improve your water by much if at all.

>>77433311
Distilled water into borosilicate glass bottle with a cork and the cork replaced regularly.
>>
>>77441042
>no glass screwtop
ok poorboy
>>
>>77439483
Yes
>>
>>77441042
