today i realize that each set of mine take like 20 secs
2 secs per rep

i read that optimal TUT is 30-60 secs

60 secs sounds hilariously long to me. am i off on this? people take like 60 secs to do 12 reps? am i leaving mad gains on the table

Just lift the fucking weight

TUT isn't something you should give a fuck about.

Lift heavy weight. Stop obsessing over numbers when you're not even totalling more than a JV football player.

This
If it gets heavy enough and you go near failure your reps will slow down naturally so you don't need to care about it
I only even see mega dyel guys at the gym caring about TUT doing that slow rep shit

You're jerking the weight around and using momentum to cheat.
