redpill me on finasteride
>>77434840It literally makes you gay, aside from other potential side effects like erectile difficulty.
>>77434840its a hair tonic for manlets that for some reason makes 4channers screech about trooning out or something.I really dont pay much attention to hair tonic threads.
It made me cum foot long ribbons of bloody jizz
>>77434840Go to turkey and get surgery.
>>77435188This is the only long term option for people who don't want to fall in love with men
>>77434840It works but avoiding the sides usually requires more precise dosing than your pharmacy or doctor is up to be prepared to get a drug scale and same razor blades to make concisely dosed amounts based on their intended formals. Taking a 60 year olds dose will only do more harm than good.
>>77435188You know surgery doesn't actually stop the balding, right? It's only a permanent solution if your pattern of balding naturally stops at like norwood 3 and even then it looks worse than if you'd kept the hair with fin.
Trooned wog ritualposting
>>77434840how much hair loss is needed for you to start considering it? I lost 1cm of hairline since childhood
>>77435197Chat, are transplanted hairs permanent?>successful transplanted follicles are generally expected to produce hair permanently
>>77434840It's a notorious tranny poison designed for silly goyim 2 stupid to either fly Türkiyeish Hairlines or import dozens of "unproven" Asian plant oils targeting assorted non-androgenic signaling pathways known to Western trichology literature after the year 2000.
>>77435295Are you stupid? The fact that the hairs you take from the back of your head and move to the front are permanent doesn't stop all the other hairs from falling out. >but I'll just keep getting more and more hair transplants as I keep baldingYour hair follicles are a non-renewable resource. Eventually you won't have enough follicles in the back for any more transplants. After all, a hair transplant is in principle just a way of shuffling follicles around. That's also the reason why transplanted hair has only half the density of normal healthy hair coverage, or even less.
>>77434840I've been on it for over 10 years (oldfag), I didnt have any side effects, but had heard it effects others. Costs me around 10 bucks for a 90 day supply. The two doctors I've worked with claim it is necessary to maintain what you have and some people get very minor regrowth. If you ever do a HT it is really a requirement or you'll just keep losing
>>77435295A hair transplant doctor will claim they are, the problem is when you transplant hairs that are more resistant to loss from the back to the front, the hairs that are still native to the area will still shed, so if youre going for a look you need to both transplant hairs if you want a fuller look, and make effort to maintain non-transplated
>>77435318>make effort to maintain non-transplateduh.. well maybe. not *every* 100-year-old+ dude is NW7 despite frequently ZERO lifetime trichology treatment; sometimes hair loss can advance fully and aggressively but other times it can stop at a certain point.
>>77434840Makes 45-year-old bald manlets seethe because they didn't take it before they went bald.
>>77435322>be nw3 >bet on hair loss not advancing further and get a ht without taking fin>hair loss does in fact advance further>you just paid several thousand dollars for the privilege of having a strip of hair up front with a bald area behind itlmao
>>77434840it doesn't fight hair loss, things that sound too good to be true are, it just kills your dick. this is a feature, as the purpose is to numb the pain of becoming an unfuckable chud in absence of a solution
>>77435325Possible, yet I also have a fren who did the Türkiyeish Hairways route but said f*** fin over a decade ago yet hasn't had to go back for another transplant since.
>>77435324i went bald at 19. wat do
>>77435332And his hair is still thinner than if he'd just taken fin.
>>77435322Yeah, it happens, that's why these decisions shouldnt be taken lightly and you either have to do a full commit or just shave it. I went the commit route about 10 years ago and it is work...I literally do a laser cap, had a transplant, fin, min, and biotin. I dont know what works or how much each thing works, and it took a very long time, but I was probably a norwood 4-5ish when I was 20, I'm a 1-2ish now. So, I can't say for everyone but I know for me something works whether it be just the HT or just the fin, or just whatever idk
>>77435333Sue your parents
>>77434840Bad for your peepee
>>77435226>>77435304Is there any truth to the tranny stuff or is it just the usual 4chan buzzword fearmongering? I ask because I literally never jerked off to futa before I start fin, but now after a year of taking fin it's practically all I can get hard to. I wish I was trolling.
>>77435622If you lurk here long enough, you'll see there are a few ultra-hardcore fin shills who claim everything else is snek oil and it's perfectly safe, a whole bunch of trolls arguing both sides... and at least a few dudes here and there who went impotent or troon'd out, the latter of which raise some difficult questions about the whole "born with it" liberal /sci/ troon theory as with tren.
You can regrow hair more naturally. Vitamin D3 deficiency causes hairloss GET MORE FUCKING SUNLIGHT why do you think homeless people got thicker hair than shut insAnd use a dermastamp microneedling, its proven to be as effective as finasteride
>>77434840i have been taking 0.5mg finasteride daily for over a year now and have felt zero side effects at all>>77434845>>77434853>>77435196top fucking kek
>>77435898i mean zero side effects. dick still hard as ever. i found scary comments about it all over reddit similar to the ones you're seeing here, not sure if it's a meme or what, but every doubleblind study shows it doesn't cause ED
guys is it over. will topical fin fix this. i can't afford any more debuffs
I took finasteride for 5 years and quit 3 years ago. What's strange is my hair didn't fall out after quitting and I still have a good head of hair for my age. I wonder if finasteride causes a permanent halting of hair loss even after stopping. I have two younger brothers and they are bald / nearly bald.
>>77435337holy shit you went from 4-5 to 1-2? congrats
>>77435311elon musk got a hair transplant and his head looks fine
>>77434840It works, especially combined with minoxidil. Sides are very rare and I hever had any.
>>77438514Is this a before and after? I'm pretty sure I was told that both of them will cause a period of initial shedding before doing anything, and I'm pretty sure it won't even out or regrow hair like in your image. Once it's gone it is gone, it always starts by thinning out in the corners.
>>77435196>doctor is up to be preparedEspecially in eastern Europe I imagine, considering my prescription I'm looking at right now.
I personally believe permanent side effects are a possibility, even if there’s no clinical evidence that proves it. If you really analyze the drug and how it works, it stands to reason things like permanent ED and endocrine dysfunction are definitely plausible. There is no obvious reason why they can’t be. And the scary thing is it’s mostly about systemic buildup and for lack of a better word exposure to other androgen receptors. So you can in theory use fin for years without any sides and then one day suddenly your dick is permanently broken. I don’t take it anymore personally but I’m also not that far gone.
>>77438514Taking fin for this is mental illness. Left is an attractive mature hair line.
>>77435622Tranny stuff? Not really. MtF trannies do get on fin but that’s mostly because, unsurprisingly, men who want to be women don’t want to be bald women. There is truth to side effects like erectile dysfunction, depression, etc. though. Fin is an anti-androgen. If it goes systemic that can cause real problems, maybe permanently. I don’t take fin anymore because I think the risk is real, personally, but if I was going to take fin I would definitely take low dose topical and never oral.
>>77435322Mine stopped at a moderate Norwood IIIvertex right around 30. I still shed hairs but somehow the balding doesn’t get any worse.
Since the potential side effects of fin are well documented and indisputable, here is stuff you can try before you resort to fin (all of these have clinical evidence, ordered from most to least):> FUE (if balding isn’t severe, more serious complications but much lower risk)> Minoxidil (more serious sides but lower risk)> Microneedling> PRP injections> Botox injections > Low Light Laser Therapy> Latanoprost/Bimatoprost (has to be used off label, similar to minoxidil but safer and less effective)> Spirinolactone> Topical Cetirizine> Topical Tretinoin> Topical Melatonin> Topical Caffeine> Topical Exosomes> Exosome injections > Stem Cell Therapies> RF> Topical Peptide Serums> Peptide Injections (local)> Topical KetoconazoleHere’s what I would never, ever take (mostly due to risk profile):> Oral Minoxidil> Oral Finasteride/Dutasteride (would only ever use topical)
>>77438580I forgot to mention:> any supplementation to address deficiencies, notably Iron deficiency, which is less common
>>77438580Oh I should also mention that oral Spirinolactone is also an anti-androgen like Finasteride and Dutasteride and is in some ways more potent than Spirinolactone so it should really only be used by women. It’s also more of an actual tranny drug. Could work and be safe as a topical but I’d just avoid it if you’re male.
It gave me weaker erections and watery semen. I use topical fin + minAnyway cialis is OTC in my country and cheap so I make do
>>77438538Yes, there was a heavy shedding phase. Finasteride stopped it, min helped me regrow my hairline.>>77438563You can't see it in that pic, but my crown was thinning too. That was my biggest concern. Now everything is nice and dense again.
>>77438563i dont think anyone would start taking fin if they thought their hairline would stay like the pic on the left forever.just got a haircut and was fucking blindsided by seeing the back of my head for the first time, pic related. i start topical fin 0.3% tomorrow and have minoxidil 2.5mg pills daily on the way. i will probably switch to oral fin 1mg daily after my topical fin runs out. am i fucked. it might be over guys
>>77435304>"unproven" Asian plant oils targeting assorted non-androgenic signaling pathwayscan you name some?
you can apply it topically at only .1 mg and it will do exactly what you want it to do. Block the DHT in your scalp while only changing your blood values by about 30 percent which is a helluva lot better than taking 1 mg pills and nuking your blood DHT levels by 90% or whatever.
>>77434840>finasterideturns you into a bitch. use chlorine dioxide instead.
>>77434840bald men are the future
>>77438977Your hair is completely fine dude. >>77439030Get micropigmentation and stop thinking about taking drugs for a non-issue.
>>77439353Your odds are better if you use topicals locally but there is no guaranteed way to prevent fin from going systemic. Personally, I would take a lot of care to wash my hands after and never let it touch the rest of my body when showering it out.
Day 94 fin micro needlingOnly get an erection a couple times a week. Sex drive completely gone. Mostly the same lifestyle as before except I've cut out alcohol and reduced junk/fast food. My gains are good, but I'm worried about these sides. Im considering downloading grindr to see if these meds are making me asexual or if I'm just gay and never realized it. Anyone else experienced this?
