i can't go full force on the pedals cause the chain may brake, cycling is for dyels. i'd rather walk.

break* sorry, thanks for the bump

If it breaks it breaks. Just carry an extra chain if you're worried about that.

Never had an issue like that on my 20 year old rusty shitbucket mountain bike, and the power with which I pedal when doing uphill sprints in high gear is enough to break a niggers skull.

nice excuse tubby

I weigh 220 and squat more than you would even believe and I have ridden bikes for 7 years and never had a chain break. I ride hard and do mountain biking. That shit is not going to break if it’s not rusting out and stays lubricated.

And if it does break nothing happens. You don’t fly over the handle bars

what are you talking about? pro cyclists burst over 1000 watts without breaking the chain during sprints
>>
>34 y.o.
>still can't ride a bike
how do you do it? I get all dizzy and fall off easily.
>>

Just pedal

Learn to take care of your bike. The only time I ever broke a chain was when I smashed the chainring into rocks and one time when I put it back together poorly.
>>
>>77443354
this is a very silly thing to say
>>

Post legs there is 0% chance you are capable of snapping a chain.

>over 1000
try 2000, track sprinters up to 2600

Guys, every other time I ride my bike there's something wrong. Either the gears are fucked so the chain skips when I switch gears (usually when I go from higher to lower), or the pedals glitch, or a tyre is flat, or a wheel bumps. Right now it's the latter.

I just want a fucking product that works without constant maintenance. I get that it has to be done but I've spent as much on repairs as I have on the bike itself and I've had it for three years. It's a Merida hybrid that I paid €400 for second hand. What the fuck do I do, I can't take this anymore? I just want to go on bike rides on my off days and not sit in front of the computer all the time.
