>does 50kg dips for reps
>still looks utterly dyel
What causes this, muh progressive overload? What is he supposed to do? Dip 100kg?
>>
>>77453117
that is weird, i guess it's the clothes
>>
>>77453117
he probably doesn't deadlift or squat
>>
Fake plates

>What causes this,
Turbomanletry
>weighs 125 lbs
>4" range of motion

There's a reason the world's strongest man (Hafthor) can't do a single strict pull up.

wrong
>>
>>77453196
Yeah, just like the Greeks imagined Hercules demonstrating his strength by... sumo deadlifting with a 5" ROM. Then benching with a 6" ROM. What a display of functional power.
>>
>>77453167
I thought being manlet was the cheatcode for building muscle. Heckin' lanklets can't fill out the frame.
>>
He would be 10x better off two years from now getting the leg lengthening surgery and he'd be healed up.

I'm sure Stacey will be super impressed by a midget "b-b-b-but I can dip with 50 kg! I'm a BIG boy! A STRONG boy!"
>>
>>77453117
Body building does nothing, functional strenght does everything
>>
>>77453117

He is wearing clothes that don't fit him. His forearms are decently thick, this boy has some meat on him under that oversized shirt.
As a natty, that's what you look like when you're lean and wearing oversized stuff.
>>
>>77453117
They're chest exercises and he's got a shirt on retard

strength≠hypertrophy
It helps, but it is not the main driver. If you don't have sufficient weekly volume, you're not going to grow. This is why there are oly & powerlifters that put up big numbers without being the behemoths you'd think they'd be. The majority of strength expression comes from neural adaptations & better technique. Hypertrophy adaptations come from increased energy demands & fatigue.
>>
>>77453215
What anon meant was that even with plates, he's not really lifting all that much weight.
>>
>>77453117

Muscle size does not equate to strength as latter has to do with how hard / efficiently the muscle tissue is driven.
>>
>>77453504
50kg dip is no joke and he weighs like 70kg.
>>
>>77453117
I could dip about 300lbs total on rings with minimal training (200lbs be + 100lbs plates). My physique wasn't impressive. Physique is 99% diet. If you include trooning then physique is 75% hormones, 20% diet and 5% training. These are the facts the egotistical panty waste faggots in the fitness community won't tell you because it hurts their pride. That all their hard work amounts to nothing without hormones and radical diet changes. Lifting produces minimal results.
>>
training for strength does not directly translate to size
>>
>>77455385
so i have to do sets of 20 repsfor aesthetics?
>>
>>77455568
no but sets of 5-6 of weighted dips aren't the best choice
>>
>>77453117
>What is he supposed to do? Dip 100kg?
As someone who dipped 90kg I don't think 100 is enough maybe 150 and you will look decent.
>>
>>77453212
5" is good enough and above average, ok ?????
>>
I fucking love dips bros
>>
>>77453212
>Yeah, just like the Greeks imagined Hercules demonstrating his strength by... sumo deadlifting with a 3" ROM. Then benching with a 2" ROM. What a display of functional power.
FTFY
>>
>>77453117
Reality is that natties just don't get that big. Many people with overexposure to roiders just expect more than what will really happen.
>>77453502
>strength≠hypertrophy
Define Strength. If the definition is 1RM for SBD, then of course someone who doesn't train SBD will be weaker. Their muscles might be able to put comparable force. But they aren't going to beat a guy who practices SBD because they haven't practiced the technique and gimmicks to max the lifts.

If the definition is force produced during muscle contractions as opposed to moving as much weight as possible with technique would be stronger because you can test them for force production using isometric torque tests. Isometric torque instead of 1RM get rid of most of the
>neural adaptations & better technique
Isometric torque tests are practically just isometric versions of isolation exercises at certain joint angles. Strength training with this definition just training to contract with more force. Particular motions/machines/etc. here are just tools suitable for each lifter to help them contract the muscle. Technique here not about maximizing the weight on a barbell but about moving in such a way that you put as much load as possible on the targeted muscle so that it has to contract as hard as possible. The best technique here might result in less weight on the bar, but the targeted muscle might even be working harder because it has to do all the work.
>strength expression
Just a vague bullshit phrase. Virtually meaningless.
>Hypertrophy adaptations
Myofibril growth (what produces the forces) occurs during hypertrophy. This means the muscles can produce more force. In other words, you get stronger from hypertrophy.
>from increased energy demands & fatigue.
No. Hypertrophy is a response to mechanoreceptor overload during your hardest muscle contractions. Overload them consistently over time and you grow.
>>
>>77453117
Looks extremely lean and natty. Anything under 170-180lbs you just do not look like you lift in clothes.
>>
>>77456691
dips are love, dips are life
>>
>>77453117
nothing, i do dips +60kg and chin ups +60kg both for 7 reps and i look like absolute dyel in L /XL shirt, im ~71kg/174cm. When i take my shirt off or wear tank top people accuse me of roids. expectations of people who dont lift or newbies with sub 4 yr experience are totally skewed.
>>
>>77453117
looks like they are 2.5 kg training plates and not 25 kg
those are also red
>>
feels good that people are so fat that they think 50 kg dips are outstanding
>>
that's not an oversized t-shirt, it's a normal one. I am a manlet and I look more developed than him even in a normal t-shirt. yet I can't do series even with 10kgs. the reason? I have no real strength, since I've always chased volume in order to grow bigger to satisfy foids' demands.
>>
>>77453117
>Social media
Don't count on everything you see online been real brah. For all we know those plates could be fake, would not be the first time someone's done that. Most influencers use fake weights.

If they are real though, what about his other lifts? What's his bench squat and deadlift? Also what's he look like shirtless, when you're totally ripped (if he is) you obviously lose a lot of size and become more dense/compact
>>
>>77453527
Genuine question, I weigh 90kg and can dip with 32kg for reps, so are me and 70+50 guy equivalent?
We're both dyel so it sounds right
>>
>>77453117
Like a few other anons said ITT the plates are probably fake. Social media != Real life
>>
>>77453117
Lacking testosterone because of his current stage of puberty
>>
>>77453196
>still don't know his name
>still don't care how much he """"lifted""""
here's the actual strongest powerlifter
>>
>>77453243
Dudes like 15, hes still growing, lack of T us also affecting his gains, he cant grow a beard yet and is going through his voice changing he needs to give it time.
>>
I have the same problem as him, and I don't know why since I'm not that skinny (74kg 176cm), but I seem to struggle to gain muscle for some reason.
>>
>>77459600
Your problem is that you haven't been lifting long enough and/or you don't eat enough.
>>
>>77459652
I've been lifting for 4 years.
>>
I think I escaped dyel, someone asked me if I competed in any lifting competitions the other day.
>>
>>77453243
this. he needs leg lengthening surgery and 500mg of test 2 times a week. then stacy will finally notice him
>>
>>77459663
You don't eat enough then
>>
>>77459740
Isn't 74kg 175cm to look good?
>>
>>77459747
>Isn't 74kg 175cm
I could literally rape you and you wouldn't be able to defend yourself against me. How does that make you feel? As a man you cannot be less than 100kg, you simply cannot
>but muh ottormode fizeek!
Enjoy getting raped then faggot
>>
>>77459699
>this. he needs leg lengthening surgery and 500mg of test 2 times a week. then stacy will finally notice him
He should walk on 6" stilts until he does it. I'm serious. Of course women will notice him and clown on him but they're also such birdbrains they seriously will treat a 6' jester wobbling around on stilts better than a "confident" manlet.
>>
>>77459792
This is the single gayest post that has been posted on 4chan, ever, including
>>>/lgbt/
>>
>>77453117
I am also a manlet but have done an added 180 lbs (4pl8) weighted dips for 4 reps before. Still is my best for dips but I don't train them as much as I should. People can tell I work out though. It could be that this kid has clothes that are way too loose fitting for his frame.
>>
>>77453117
yeah but im sure your tris would look insane
>>
>>77453117
instead of adding just adding 50kg to the chain he should eat and gain 50kg too
