you're doing too much volume or lifting too heavy or both

Idk but fuck him. I maxed out this machine a few weeks ago and my elbows are still trolling me from it

It can happen if ur doing a lot of preacher curls or machine curls. Switch to barbell standing curls
>>

For a training block* it should calm down
>>
reverse wrist curls at the end of every session. tattoo this message on your elbow

You probably use machines or probably not freeweight triceps shit. Cables won't hurt your elbows from tris.but biceps uh preachers or otherwise you are such a noob that standing biceps give you tendon strain and inflammation.

Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. (Heb 12:12)

It amazing how many problems may come from a tensed neck. From the shoulder to the hand. Had I not found my amazing back physio, wholy paid by my nanny state, I would never have known.

He used to be able to do overhead extensions, one day he just couldn't anymore.

My elbow is ok but my forearms have been hurting since I started lifting like 8 years ago.
And I'm inconsistent as fuck. I've had like 4 one year breaks and the pain never went away.

Give all the details, this is so horrible I feel the need to try and help.

It initially started to hurt after I had been doing ez bar curls for a few months. It hurts on the inside of the forearm, it mainly hurts when I press against the ulna bones. It also hurts a bit after doing bicep curls, mainly when I let go of the dumbells. It doesn't get better when I don't lift.
It doesn't hurt that much, I can workout fine, but it's pretty annoying

>lift heavy to get big

make sure your form is right

to lift properly for hypertrophy is to keep tension and use primarily the target muscle to lift the weight, the weight needs to be heavy enough that the target muscle will get close to failure in a moderate rep range
lifting weights that are too heavy to lift with proper form will have you using bad form to get it up can result in injury and bad growth on the target muscle

used to have elbow pain but it went away with curls and grip/wrist lifts
just train your grip and go easy on the frequency, 2x/week max.

Oh ok, I'll check my form. I've been doing incline bicep curls for some time and managed to get to 20kg x 10. Can't go to the gym right now, so I'm doing standing bicep curls and those seem to cause a bit more pain for some reason. But I guess my form is shitty and I have to lower the weight.
>>
>>77473695
absolutely
>>77474939
it's better to do lighter weights with perfect form where you only feel it in your target muscle, and make sure that your scaps are pulled back and your posture is straight. you not only get to keep your elbows in good condition but you learn how to lift properly and grow your muscles. those guys just lifting by picking them up (and not warming up in a lighter weight for one set) always end up with injuries and get fat.
