This shit hurts. I can barely drive home because my callused all hurt, and my thumb skin is nearly all scarred and ripping off due to hook gripping for the past 2-3 years. Is the anti gloves agenda a psyop?

>>77473381My calluses just build up and I get to experience a deep, ephemeral pleasure that I can't even put words to when I shave them with a razor. It's the opposite of a problem.
>>77473381grip pads are superior to gloves
>>77473381>hook gripping for the past 2-3 yearsweird, because my hands are silky soft smooth after hook gripping for 17 years. gloves are gay, and belts are gay (until you squat over 400 and deadlift over 500, then its ok).
>>77473381i only use gloves for kettle bells because you have to have perfect formand grip control or else snatches will fuck up your hands like nothing elseand you can't have that if you don't want to be a form sissy and go heavy so gloves or pads it isfor everything else just train and every 2 weeks file down your calluses with a cosmetic file
>>77473381I don't understand it either. Not only do I use gloves, but mine are pink. And I outlift and mog 99.9% of people, specially the ones that say "gloves are gay".
I never used to wear gloves. Had nice calluses, never even thought about them. Then one day in my 30s for no reason I suddenly developed contact dermatitis, all my calluses peeled off and anything I did with my hands caused them to peel, crack and bleed everywhere. Apparently medicine has no fucking idea why this happens or how to stop it. I'd never had skin issues before, never even had a wart in my life.So now I wear gloves so my skin doesn't split and I don't bleed everywhere when doing weights. And I don't care what faggots like >>77473389 think.

>wear fingerless meme gloves>get calluses on fingersmay as well deal with it and rip/file those bad boys off as you notice them develop

>>77473389>grow a pair, pussy>havent you done any work in your life before? You can tell a low-tier tradie by calloused greasy hands, sometimes eventually with missing fingers. The smartest ones are using gloves for any kind of sharp/abrasive/hazardous materials handling, instead of begging their bosses for a day off to go get their hand infection from a ripped dirty callous treated.
Still a bunch of pussyboys who never experienced a second of hardship in all their docile lives. Get gaped.
I file mine down every couple of months

>>77473460>and belts are gay (until you squat over 400 and deadlift over 500, then its ok). This is dependent on the person. I do both those without a belt (I've honestly been perennially bad about getting used to using a belt and it may actually be holding back my progress) but I'm not about to shit on people who use a belt at those weights. But yeah, proper grip strength and technique go a loooong way to not having excessive callouses. I never got used to hook grip myself though and just used mixed like a fucking hunchback (no, I'm not really hunch backed/grossly imbalanced).>>77473381Improve your grip strength and technique. Do NOT palm the bar and torque your hand into place. You're not a fucking ratchet strap. Put your fingers where the weight of the bar should be going. Wrap the rest of your hand and fingers around it. Don't torque.
>>77473742Did they really dress up a low powered rotary tool to market to women? That's pretty genius honestly.
>>77473381>Is the anti gloves agenda a psyop? They just want you to rip up your hands because they were fooled into ripping up their hands. Use gloves, you'll be thankful you did later in life, as the cushioning they provide will keep you from getting arthritis early.
Why should I care what another man does with his hands? Sounds like low IQ behavior
>>77473381Because you don't moisturise. Use moisturiser and eventually even your callus will disappear. Your skin will just be tougher somehow. The irony is I only learnt this when I switched to a blue collar job and was getting wrecked by the sun. I use heavy tools too, but have nice soft hands. I didn't moisturise when I was white collar and had thick calluses that peeled and bled all the time.
>>77474061Not OP but what moisturizer do you use?
