It’s crazy to think that there was a time when Blaha was at least semi-respected in the fitness industry 2013-2016. I was never subscribed but I would watch some of his videos here and there and think it was ok content. Lots of fitness influencers were shilling his “ice cream fitness” program too and I was constantly seeing that video recommended in youtube recommendations on other fitness videos. Then he went off the deep end and ruined it all. 2016-2019 was peak lolcow era for Blaha. I miss those days. Now he’s neither respected or a lolcow. He just lifts in his living room and posts a.i slop videos, it’s depressing. Is an a gifted power lifter? No. Is he a gifted bodybuilder? Definitely no. But if he didn’t act like such a weird schizo narcissist he probably could have kept his youtube career going and would be making a decent living right now.
