I got burnt out at the start of the year after lifting daily for many months, then stopped working out completely.
Many months with me doing nothing but reading books and playing VNs, until I got to a chapter in a VN that I was reading/playing where the main character became ripped and had absolute aura.
This plus an unfortunate run in that I had with some younger zoomers last month (I mogged them as an older zoomer who is not built like a celery stick and can reach the top shelf), led to my return to being disciplined and remembering why I enjoy being /fit/, though I barely gained weight if any.

Share your examples, whether they be stories or images (preferably with an explanation of why)

By the way, this is Orion Richards from Eternum. A classic zero to hero story and, funnily enough, a silly game like this was all that it took me to reignite my love for the gym

Jesus christ I hope this thread does not get banned since I honestly had the best of intentions

I wanted to stop being a loser and get a gf. I did date a few different women over the last decade or so, but I also found out that being in a relationship is would not make me feel any better. As it turns out you can't outlift autism.

To add to that when i used to do it just for myself i would always fail, i think i unfortunately need external motivation or push for me to do something

I just hate myself, I have nothing to show for in this life, the only thing in my possession is effort.
