I quit smoking by first switching to dip, then that hurt my gums so I switched to vaping, and that sucked because I couldn’t let the damn vape lay down on side or else it would get flooded so it just became a pain in the ass. Then my wife asked me for a divorce and immediately after she moved out and got her stuff I went to my bedroom and cried because she took the dog (we didn’t have kids) and then I got mad and threw the vape away and got a gym membership. I haven’t used nicotine since and got in shape and took care of myself ever since.
