>forces you to have the most miserable 2 weeks of lifting you've ever had in you're path
It took me months of rehab exercises to heal that area in red. Biggest pain in the ass strain of my life. I'm still hesitant to pull heavy.
>>77478754it's when traps/rhomboids tug on scapula but humerus is not moving it happnes - lat is attached to lower angle of scapula ideally you want muscles to work in concert with only emphasis on certain function this is awesome example of compound movement of that sort >>77477295>>>woodchoppers but bent over and you go with down shoulder - not pure twist in spine but twist and side bend>>>like this shit is mightily retarded:>>>https://www.youtube.com/shorts/suSEgI6VpBg>>>not up :D down, u're not chopping wood upwards lol :D>>>https://www.youtube.com/shorts/90Qh5XG6mqs>>>no, you're not a robot rotating on ball bearing lol :D>>>bent over, arms close to torso, shoulder that's closer to cable/rubber goes down, and rubber is preferable cause it will snag on arm done like that>>very important: bent over, arms close to torso, drop inside shoulder down, don't do anything below belt level, stay planted, or do it on one knee - even better

>>77478758tell me more so i dont have to go through that. are weighted pullups gonna cause this?

>>77478812I stopped all pulling for a couple of months. I did face pulls and several sets of internal and external rotation on the cables with every gym session. You know where you pin your upper arm to your torso and use your rotator cuff muscles to move the weight.I honestly think I wasn't doing enough pushing exercises to lead to my injury. I'm prone to shoulder impingement so I go light on bench weight and volume. I think concentrating on internal rotation rehab really got my shit together.
>>77478758Months????I still feel that pain fucking years later.
>>77478816
>>77478812no
idk. I can push and pull absurdly heavy and I don't get injuries so I assume I'm doing it right
>>77478754This shit is brutal. Week 2-4 I was on hydromorphone. Week 4-6 on constant dose of tylenol and naproxen. Week 6-8 I can now use my arm for everyday tasks and I can do light jogging without too much pain from the impact force.
>>77478754>not taking 2 weeks off instead
