I used to do this diet before and lost like probably 20 to 40 pounds off it? I can't remember but it's a total fad diet but it works.

If you don't know the basics of what it is then for a quick summary, it's a dieting that requires fasting as long as you can until you refeed with usually a small meal of protein, fruit and veg with salt water mix while fasting (so you don't fucking die from a heart attack).

Anyone else remember trying this retarded diet? I remember it fondly but it was so fucking brutal and felt like shit but the results were worth it.

Probably damaged my heart from doing it though.

I lost like 20 lbs doing it but I would only fast for 5 days at a time. Then refreed on a medium pizza of all things lol. I forgot the recipe for the water. There used to be threads here for it

It’s just rolling 36-72 hour fasts supplemented with electrolytes. It’s not dangerous. There’s really nothing retarded about it. The only real issue with it is that most people experience a sharp cortisol spike somewhere around 48 hours fasting which blunts fat loss so anything beyond that was sub-optimal but that’s really a minor grievance.

I am not a snake though :(

It’s salt, no salt, epsom salt, and baking soda. The amount of each was very important, but it was really no different from an IV bag.

I fucked myself up with the salt dosages because I eyeballed everything. Liquid shitting like crazy. I was so stupid and desperate at the time I still kept at it for a while before I realized how retarded I was. I don't know if there's long term danage from megadosing sodium and potassium. Probably.

It's dangerous because I most likely fucked up the salt doses which is bad for you. My heart was always beating like hell.
>>77479944
Same lol, I did eventually start using scales but I still fucked it.

How were the shits? I didn't feel too bad in my heart but the diarrhea was apocalyptic.

I was scared to fart and my ass fired out pure liquid. I'm glad I ditch the diet though. Doing a 500 calorie diet or fasting every other day or some other safer alternative means almost none of the side effects of an extreme diet.

The guy behind the diet is correct though, he was quite intelligent but really socially retarded and thought all bad publicity was valuable.

I'm relieved to have dropped it too, mostly worried about permanent damage to my body but I can't turn back time. Damn. At least I'm not like those EC Stack guys who followed incorrectly posted dosages. Last we saw of them.

EC Stack guys? I've just started browsing /fit/ recently so I'm unaware of the lore. Definitely a good choice picking safer diets.
>>

Yeah, it's another weight loss thing like Snake Diet I saw a few years ago when I started browsing /fit/. Ephedrine and caffeine pills. The problem was some people posted incorrect dosages either by mistake or as a prank but it can seriously fuck someone up. I can accept the Snake Diet issues being my own fault for my laziness but listing actual killer dosages is different. EC Stack and also Yohimbine posting set off my paranoia that some posters seriously want to fuck with innocent people.

I wasn't aware cortisol breaks thermodynamics. Good to know.

KEK it's great seeing the 201X shit from time to time. Good times.
Anyway doesn't the Snake Diet have something to do with oils
>>
y'all will try anything but cutting carbs
