What's the catch?
Stupid cutting routines will only cause you to suffer more than necessary and possibly lose muscle. A moderate long term approach has best results.
>>77480023It requires immense discipline.
>>77480023The main benefit of fasting is appetite dies 36~48 hours into a fast, making it an easy way to diet. Alternate day fasting makes you as hungry as possible all the time. There's a reason people who practice regular intermittent fasting always trend towards rolling 72s, it maximizes the time you spend not thinking about food and minimizes the ground work you need to do.
>>77480054I think fasting is dumb but "crash dieting" in general isn't. When they actually did research on it they found out not only did they lose more weight than moderate groups they were more likely to keep it off, rebound weight gain was less, and they were more likely to diet again. Success breeds success is what you should take away from this.
>>77480023You refill your glycogen stores on the day you eat normally and then use them up on the day you fast. You never enter a real fasting state which doesn't begin until your glycogen is completely used up.
>>77480023depends on your goals. what is this even for, to lose weight? just lower your calories if that is what you want to do.
>>77480023just do a 3 day fast once a month instead you cunt
>>77480130I do or try to go at least 20hrs of fasting on my days off so basically just stop eating after dinner the following day. I only get hunger grumbles maybe for 30ish to an hour then it's gone. I have no idea where you get this shit where it's all day you feel like dying to eat.
