When am I supposed to start liking working out? I've never felt accomplished or a "high", I fucking hate the gym and dread every time I go. It's monotonous, boring, and I just feel sore after. The only thing keeping me going back is the fact that I'm in a contract for a few more months and I'd rather not waste the money, though this hasn't felt worth it.
stale pasta
>>77480049nigga i typed it all out, it's not pasta. I genuinely do not get enjoyment out of the gym.
>>77480046Sorry you're just not made to be strong. Maybe you should just sit in your room all day and take estrogen.
>>77480046>When am I supposed to start liking working out?when you're benching 80lb more than some skeleton and her gf bites her lips because of you
>>77480046Nobody gives a fuck if you enjoy it. It's not about having fun.
>>77480046you should stay home. you are probubly hogging someone's station that wants to be there.
>>77480046For many during lifting, it's the destination that matters, not the journey. You'll feel better after a workout. But as the days turn to weeks to months, you'll look back fondly on the journey.
>not worth itreally bro what are you sacrificing? That 30 minutes a day of brain rotting on the internet was really important to you? lol But if you truely genuinely hate it, I would say stick around at least long enough to see progress. Progress makes a lot of people start to like it. If you still dont like it then quit. Start biking or running or doing some other shit.
>>77480046It is boring and braindead, no wonder it appeals to meatheads. People of intelligence work out organically by doing outdoor stuff like climbing, biking, swimming, etc
>>77480092I don't find gym whores attractive.>>77480114After all my workouts I feel like shit and feel like I just wasted a bunch of time.>>77480121I'm sacrificing getting home early and working on my hobbies I actually enjoy. Instead when I work out I'm tired and don't do anything the rest of the night. All I really care about is being stronger, I think bodybuilders look gross.
>>77480129found the cardio bunnypost ass
>>77480129i have never met an actual smart person that brags about it. midwits yeah, but intelligence is something so alienating real smart people almost have shame bc of it
>>77480153I can kind of see that. I personally remember almost everyone I see and keep this involuntary mental dossier on everyone in my small city. Half of the distinctive vehicles I can tell you where the person lives who drives it and where they work. It was a big problem for me back in college when I didnt know how to hide my power level. I would just know everyones names and what classes we have together and any personal detail they ever revealed. And I rubbed a lot of people the wrong way and creeped them out with this. Just greeting someone by name who doesnt think you should know their name is almost a crime to normies. Despite fucking dale carnegie telling me how everyone loves when you do this.
>>77480046>When am I supposed to start liking working out? When you first see that hint of muscle in the mirror as you start to get gains and your numbers start going up. The innate desire to gain exp and level up for higher numbers is built into all normal humans.
>>77480181i can relate to this too. i walk in a room and i am like the terminator scanning for weapons, threats, and escape routes and catagorizing. we had different upbringings, obviously but the patterns are consistant. needless to say i would only admit this to strangers on the internet
Pick an exercise program you enjoy you don't have to only lift weights Try rooning or biking or kettlebells or calisthenics or swimming or climbing/parkour
>>77480189based RuneScapechad
>>77480046Post>routine>diet>sleepBecause you're fucking up somewhere, most likely on all three.
>>77480181My sister is like that, but she can also recognize people even 35 years later, even though she only met them in kindergarten and they weren’t even in her class. Not only does she remember every detail about the person and their face, but she also recognizes them immediately, even if they look completely different. I don’t recognize people I met and talked to the day before. What’s creepy to me is that most people have to make a special effort to remember things about others, which means they have a certain interest or motive. There’s an information asymmetry: You’re a stranger to them, but you know things about them that they’ve probably never even told you. My sister also joins in on the gossip or mentions their names in conversation, and I think to myself "You don’t even know them. You have nothing to do with them." I also think that if you realize you know more about someone than they know about you, you shouldn't reveal that, it just makes it seem like you don't respect their privacy. However, if you're closer to someone personally or there's a reason to "keep a file on that person," (business relations, etc) it can actually be flattering.
>>77480046you need no more than two low volume workouts a week, but if you dont like that, find something else to do
Maybe you were just born to be weak and gay OP.
>>77480062>>77480046You made this thread yesterday. You know we can tell it's you because you use the same linguistic mannerisms, right?
honest to good, test EQ cycle, 3 weeks in you'll start to get it
>>77480133>I'm sacrificing getting home early and working on my hobbies I actually enjoy.Gooning and 4chan are not "hobbies" OP....as I told you when you made this identical thread like 2 days ago...
>>77480046you should just stay on your couch and memorise a new fun fact instead.the 20 minutes 3×/week of bodyweight I do is definitely a very big and time-consuming commitment with very little payoff other than being the guy in my office that everyone wants to fuck, everyone instinctively treat me with respect, I have the agility and stamina of a 20yo despite being twice that, and will likely have for the rest of my functioning life, have none of the health problems of my fellow millennials.even funnier when normgroids cope and assume I'm a retard but then find out my job is designing bedroom furniture in cadd, I show them me playing freebird on my guitar (I can play harder stuff but freebird is the watermark of a master musician for normgroids) and direct them to my scifi novels on amazon and the boardgame I have coming out at xmas.but yeah, that 60 accumulated minutes of working out IS too much
>>77480046When you find the exercise you like.
>>77480046Get a hobby that requires you to be fit. Then you have something to train for.
>>77480046Liking it is a bonus. You dont have to like it. Everyone bathes, brushes their teeth, wipes their ass, etc. They do it because it is proper hygiene even if they may not like it. Thats the same as working out.
>>77480129Some of us workout in the gym for health reasons and do the other shit you mentioned for fun.
>>77480046Why are you doing something you don't enjoy Not everyone was made to be strong. Just play bingo bong wahoo
>>77480046Unfortunately anon, this means you are: Weak, unadaptable>unable to lift enough or even improve enough to see appreciable resultsAnd low IQ>unable to understand or implement delayed gratification. Many such cases. My condolences. Now please get out of the squat rack.
