How to maintain a decent diet while being a wagie? I work 60–70 hours a week and want to simplify my diet without losing nutrition or adherence. I tried meal prepping for a week, but the people I live with keep eating my food or complaining about how much space my stuff takes. No, I can't move (yet). Yes, I'm looking for another job.

As long as you don't mind eating the same stuff over and over again, its not that hard.
Oats, chicken, rice, broccoli, just generally whole foods and as little processed food as possible, cut out calorie dense drinks...
If you can't meal prep, just do whatever is low effort for you and cook the same stuff over and over again.
Its not fancy and will get boring and annoying over time, but it will work.

>I work 60–70 hours a week
Why are Americans/Koreans/Japanese like this?
>>
But you have time to post here during the workday
>>

>breakfast: airfryer potato chunks
>prep time: 20 minutes including dicing, long enough to brew a coffee, shower, shit, and get dressed
>lunch: leftover dinner
>prep time: 1 minute company microwave
>dinner: whatever the fuck you want
Just follow the regular principles for cooking? Carb, protein, fiber, sauce? Y'know that thing we got taught how to do in high school, either directly in class (home ec) or by your parents? Y'know? Like those millions of 25c cookbooks in every thrift store on the planet will tell you?

How do you not see the problem with what you're asking and how it's completely self-defeating?

As do you

>70 hours
you are suicidal. you do know that, do you? I bet you arent even making good money.

You gotta do what you gotta do.
>>
>>77481564
no you dont. you do it because you hate your life. no one needs to work 70 hours to survive.
>>
>>77481391
If you're working that much how on earth don't you have your own place? Is it minimum wage work? Either invest or go back to your family home, many are doing it these days there's no shame in it. Better than being a sardine-stacked slave.

Op here. Being a NEET as miserable and embarrassing. Being a wagie is just miserable.
>>

there is a healthy middle ground. I used to be a neet and I worked 48h/week for a while so I have seen both sides. currently doing 32 and thats pretty much the ideal amount for most people.

My city just happens to have one of the worst job markets in my whole country, so 70 hours was the best I could get at the time. I didn't bother going to college and I don't have any kind of certification besides a driver's license and highschool diploma.
>>77481404
The irony
>>77481400
I don't mind, I just want to figure out a diet that will keep my body from going to shit
>>
>>77481603
why dont you learn a trade. blue-collar work pays surprisingly well as long as you are specialized in a field.
>>
>>77481613
wagies aren't too smart, they'll work a fuckton then spend all their money on useless contrivances and probably pick up smoking drinking and gambling and have about as much money as a neet but with zero time its sad.
>>
guys i work brutal filming days and i'm talking like 12-14h work days but i only do it twice a week and im chilling the other days with 3-5 hours video editing per day. Is that slave shit or managable if you factor in the brutal 14h days?

I can't give you a full on diet plan, you should come up with whatever works best for you. But generally speaking like I said stick to whole foods, eliminate drinking calories as much as you can, eat enough protein (around 1.5g per kg, could do less, but better a bit too much protein than to little), eat some fruits and vegetables.
Doesn't mean you can't ever eat processed foods, all in moderation. But the bulk of your calories should come from clean foods.
Its really not that complicated, but if you go search for diet information online, you will get bombarded with info from people who just want to make money from you.
