Anyone still doing CrossFit in 2026?

Millennials and gen x

I wonder how many unique psychiatric meds are ingested by that group

Pretty much everyone in my city who is seriously in to lifting except me. I rag on it but it has turned some real duds into very athletic people. I do have to concede the methods can work pretty well.
>>

You must live in Millennial city

I'm all for foids frame-mogging, but Cross-Fridge makes 'em too bulky and causes lots of injuries. Doing lots of different exercises is a good idea, but it's genuinely a poorly designed program that has fallen off in popularity for a good reason.

>>77482334
Desu I would move there if it B& brocco-hair.
>>
>>77482270
>the methods can work pretty well.
Except they don't. Let's be honest, crosshit is synonymous with steroid usage.
>>77482239
Not a single fucking one of these women are natty, not one. You need to understand this. Some men who do it might be natty, but none of the competitive ones are. The training methods do not work, there is a reason their mascot is pukey the clown and the inside joke is about getting a visit from uncle rhabdo. The training methods are not consistently recoverable without steroid usage and they create a cult-like atmosphere that encourages it, encourages getting stronger at any cost, including your health.

Desu this is all kinds of PED skill issues; boomers gravitate to AAS and hGH for "le recovery" without realizing some retardedly huge stack of dozens upon dozens of supplements totally mogs those and even some freakin cherry juice "monotherapy" nearly competes.
>>
>>77482366
Wtf are boomers taking lol?
>>
>>77482366
>nearly competes
Lol, no. There is no combination of OTC supps that can come anywhere close to competing with AAS & HGH. You can get natty+ with a few things that won't fuck your hormones but they're still all research chems & shit you need scrips for.
>>
>>77482369
>"yeah bro these r FDA approved for decades"
Picrel.

>>77482371
>"I haven't read proteomics since 1996"
Yeah, not anymore. None of the popular gear even touches myogenic regulatory factors or myostatin as easy modern target examples, your triple-ring boomer molecules are getting superseded.
>>
>>77482239
Economy is bad for much of crossfits clientele. Higher income blue collar types with some tech bros thrown in depending on location. Also just some guys who like to work out a lot.

>>77482270
Its fine outside of yoga its probably the only gym activity/class getting people to learn new skills regularly. You can go into crossfit not being able to do much and come out in a few years knowing how to do a muscle up, snatch, clean and jerk, handstand, handstand walk, and handstand pushups, double unders, and some l-sit stuff. Many people never thought they could do any of that stuff so its a really great experience for them.

I don't think working out is as popular as it used to be a few years ago. Feels like training is busted, but could just be my area.
>>
>>77482239
I can beat up every woman there at the same time
>>
>>77482375
>myogenic regulatory factors or myostatin
Assuming you're talking about OTC myostatin inhibitors like epicatechin or myostatin antagonists like follistatin, I dare you to post a single article or study showing it can compete with AAS & HGH. Don't point to some experimental research myostatin inhibitor and claim the OTC shit is even in the same fucking league.
>>
>>77482391
NTA but you're clearly not wise enough for the secret ways, sorry!
>>
>>77482393
>Translation: I have no fucking clue what I'm talking about and am just going to say some dumb shit to deflect.
Look, retard. I am not pro-AAS/HGH/etc. But they are what they are for a reason. There's a reason everyone us trying to chase down whatever will give them the Natty+ status without fucking up their hormones. There is no OTC supp that is going to even hold a candle to what SERMS/SARMS/secretagogues/etc and anything that requires a prescription will do

>yes bro I will pick on this one target and say every OTC molecule I know for it is like pretty weak breh
>THEREFORE IF U STACKS UP OVER 9,000 OTHER MOLECULES U CAN *NEVER* EXCEED GEAR AND HGH
Yeah, my secret ways even include Quercetin, OTC myostatin inhibitors are indeed weak compared to gear, and I frame-mog the majority of gear users because myostatin inhibitors account for like 2% of my compound stack.

>>77482408
>There is no OTC supp that is going to even hold a candle to what SERMS/SARMS/secretagogues/etc and anything that requires a prescription will do
...and people make the mistake of "keep it simple stupid" rather than drugging a bunch of different protein networks at once, wonder why they still vicky w8 on grams of gear, kek.

You can even find phytochemcial GH secretagogues FYI, but the whole molecule class is trash without mTORC1 inhibitors and GSK3B inhibitors added on at a bare minimum.
>>
>>77482334
Do female crossfitters mog you that much that have to seethe about it? All you have to do is hit 1/2/3/4 as a man. Can you not even be bothered to do that?
>>
Hyrox is apparently the new fad
>>
>>77482239
This girl I worked with did cross fit competitively. Shes fit but her shoulders got so wide she looks like a man. It’s a bit gross.

this still looks like crossfit. did they just repackage it with a newer name and fancier gyms or is it actually different?
>>
>>77482596
since both are brands it's legally distinct crossfit, but also it revolves entirely around a specific and standardized competition format. At least looking at the exercises it's probably harder to fuck your shit up with this one
>>
>>77482591
It's insane the stupid shit that people will get up to rather than playing a sport or having active hobbies.

I thought the lunges were one of the easier stations when I did a hyrox. Wallballs, burpees and sled pull easily the 3 hardest for me anyway.
>>
>>77482239
didn't it morph unto hyrox?
>t. clueless retard
>>
>>77482831
Hyrox is basically a long crossfit workout. Crossfitters will be eager to tell you this to belittle hyrox even though most of them can't run for shit and would really struggle in hyrox
>>
>>77482751
Ignore the faces for a moment (redhead is very cute tho, put makeup and good lighting on her and that's an 8+ face).

These bodies are great for reasons you miss when photo'ed in isolation.
>put even 5 pounds of fat on them and everything gets a lot softer
>assuming you're not a manlet, they're still small. It's like the difference being playing with a tiny rat dog that women love vs. a small but solid dog like a french bulldog. Wrestling and playing with the bulldog is a lot more fun since he doesn't feel like he's going to break.

as someone with shit shoulders and a small core should i switch to crossfit?
>>
>>77482347
I don't think it's steroid usage my friend, I am talking about regular people and not competition hopefuls. I know some of these people personally It only has to do with if they take it seriously when they go vs. "I'm with my buddies doing lifty stuff" mentality. This has to do with the coaches.
>>77482334
What the is a "millennial city"? Lol what a gay little boy you grew up to be.
>>
>>77482591
>1.Ski 1000M
Is Concept2 sponsoring this event?
Looks like they were really desperate to shill their stupid SkiErg because nobody gives a shit about this meme exercise, even making it the event opener
>>
>>77482995
lmao it really is extremely specific and niche compared to the rest
>>
It's funny that Hyrox took over the discussion for what /fit/ness is because le no cardio necessary for Crossfit meme (which wasn't even true) and now it's just a bunch of gay twinks on meth and roids rather than fridges on cabinets full of roids. Neither is healthy in any way.
>>
>>77483057
Crossfit has resistance movements but they are done as fast as possible which is just asking to get hurt, Hyrox is safer but it's basically just cardio with extra steps and a gayer version of spartan races
>>
>>77482412
You're just spouting meaningless shit. You obviously have a superficial grasp of the science of all the different biochemical pathways that you could manipulate to encourage muscle growth, but most of the shit you're mentioning is extremely niche stuff with barely any supporting evidence and what evidence there is still demonstrates that the stuff you're mentioning isn't even remotely as anabolic as traditional steroids or even sarms and research chemicals and shit.
>phytochemcial GH secretagogues
There is no plant based hormone that even compares to animal derived ones, or shit, I guarantee you can't even find me a single one of those that is even half as strong as ibutamoren.
>mTORC1 inhibitors and GSK3B inhibitors
Basically fucking pointless to mention because you're either referencing supplements that have been shown to POTENTIALLY have some minimal effect, or like myostatin inhibitors, you're talking about research chems that cost thousands of dollars to get even a mg of, shit that is even less studied and potentially way more dangerous than sarms.
>>
>>77482412
>I mog people on gear with muh suppies
Ok, prove it, post body.
>>
>>77482629
this is some random shit, like spartan, you waltz in with your friends when you have a day off from your actual activities. no one treats this shit seriously
this is just another gay park run trope for gym fags and work corporations for team building
>>
>>77483091
I can't be arsed to check but I bet that there's a subreddit where some clueless fags take this shit incredibly seriously
>>
>>77482629
how is this not an active hobby? am I taking some shit tier bait here or what
