Why does my food addiction go dormant after fasting for a bit when comes back roaring if I binge a little? I thought my food addiction was gone after fasting for months (not straight) but when I binge on some snack foods and all of a sudden it's back at full power. Wtf?
>>77483287Why does my heroin addiction come back when I do heroin?
>>77483290The heroin addiction never goes away
>>77483314Cool, now replace "heroin" with "food" and you've answered your own question!
>>77483328This doesn't stand up to reasoning since you've claimed the addiction can go dormant which it doesn't
>>77483345dormant =/= gonehope this helps!
>>77483348Still doesn't stand up to basic reasoning
>>77483370It does but you do you

>>77483385Not clicking that>>77483381You're gay
>>77483370>stop engaging with addiction>addiction does not go away>do not notice addiction because you do not engage with it anymore>re-engage with addiction>notice addiction again>this is somehow a mysteryIf this isn't bait, you're possibly the dumbest user on this board right now, congrats!Could you tell me how you would have felt if you hadn't eaten breakfast yesterday?
>>77483395Still not standing up to basic reasoning, I think you have some learning disability or an IQ issue perhaps
>>77483406You're accusing somebody of not standing up to reasoning while you binge and purge. Do you not see the problem with that reasoning?
>>77483421>You're accusing somebody of not standing up to reasoning while you binge and purge. Do you not see the problem with that reasoning?
>>77483429So no. Gotcha
>>77483431>So no. Gotcha
your body regulates your hunger related hormones like grehlin in part as a response to your eating habits. when you fast, your body produces much less grehlin so you feel less hungry. when you start eating again, your body produces grehlin again, sometimes in high amounts than it did before your fast, so you feel extra hungry.it's speculated that this is the bodies way of surviving food insecurity. your body thinks there's no food so making you hungry is a waste of resources and the distraction it causes is probably a disadvantage. once you get food again it wants to make sure you eat enough to makeup for the lost calories so the grehlin spikes. if you eat regular meals at set times your grehlin production will adjust. but if you're binging for mental reasons and not hunger/craving situation, you'll need to address those too
>>77483406>>77483437So it is bait, thank you for clarifying.Have fun pretending to be retarded, I guess.
