>>77484717they feel easier to me than regular pull upsfrom easiest to hardest:>chin ups > neutral pull ups > regular pull ups
>>77484717ofc im doing them, they're an s-tier exercise. they are one of the 3 fundamental lifts alongside benchpress and OHP (though OHP is clearly a tier below the other 2). >>77484793i find neutral grip easier than chin ups even, but thats just because they're the only one i ever do really these days. i used to do mainly regular pull ups and i got to the point that they were easier for me than chin ups too. but if you were to train each equally i think your ranking is probably correct.
>>77484717Switched from lat pulldowns to pullups as the back warmup. Feels better desu, 3x12 and then proceed with the regular back workout:3xfailure full stack lat pulldown "kelso shrugs" downward3xfailure shrugs on a t-bar row2x12 flared elbow single arm lat pulldown2x12 single arm machine rowSome upright rows to finish off. I love how short people psychotically try and find every bizarre and obscure way to claim superiority even though they're wrong every time
>>77485690t. dyel who cant do a pull up, thinks its because hes tall (he's 5'11)
>>77485690I love how fat weird mean people act like edge lord tough guys who need to feel better than others and then brag that they can't even do a chin up. I lie. I don't love that at all. , Go to the gym and work. Don't be mean, Rajeeki

>>77484717I am very bad at them but I did 3 body weight sets to failure today for 10,7 then 6.
>>77485710not bad anon, keep goingi did 12, 11, 11 but i have been doing active hang instead of dead hang which makes them a bit easier
>>77485412Why the fuck would I curl on a back day when I do arms on Fridays, it's my favorite workout

>>77485979>anyone solved this?rest bicep concentrics, massages, and weed, unironically.
>>77484717Also works out a bit of your shoulders. A pullup/dip power tower is actually quite possibly all you would need for your upper body development theoretically. Not saying you will look like a bodybuilding chad with it but you do make a fair point how good dips and pull ups are. Add weighted to your routine and you got great workouts you can do with just a power tower. I'd love to see someone new to lifting do only this for upper body development over the course of a year or two with weighted included to see how well it would work out.

>>77484717neutrals are significantly easier than regular pull-ups. I prefer the latter and only do neutrals at the end of a workout as a finisher. The L-sit variant is kinda kino though.
>>77486495I'd like to tell you, but then that would mean the lil brown zoomerito would know the correct term and he would use it to try and blend in, and we can't have that
>>77484717i do chin ups 4 days a week i do 3 sets per day when i started it took me 3 months of dead hanging to do a single chin upi would recommend doing 5 second deadhangs every day until you can do a 1 minute dead hangwhen i started i could barely do a 5 second deadhang without it feeling my fingers were going to pop out of their sockets. my grip strength was weak
>>774865535 second dead hangs multiple times a day every day*
>>77486553this. dead hangs are the ultimate cheat code for pull up training. they also fix your shoulders, which is a nice bonus.
>>77484717ive stopped using machines for back workout and completely switched to pull-ups for upper back. i do 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 reps for pull-ups and just today i hurt my shoulder. should i change or stick to this routine?

>>77487041>inb4 dude weed lmaovasodilator + anti-inflammant. i say this as someone who suffered from de quervain's tenosynivitis, it didn't improve until i>stopped doing exercises that put pressure on my wrists>massaged my wrists>started doing 2.5-5mg edibles every other eveningso, being ensouled and possessing baseline human intelligence, one would reasonably suggest trying those for a similar inflammation issue.
>>77485758I also call kekke out now, so there's at least 2 of us.
>filters…lankletsClimbers are lanklets and can do 20+ pullups kek
Doesn't train any of the muscles involved in the most effective way and you do pull ups to get good at pull ups. Which is not bad if it's what you want to do.
>>77485981The band only helps at the easiest part but it's something.
>>77485697>>77485705>>77485708>>77485708look at all these pathetic manlets just rope already tall people aren't reading your cope posts lmao
>>77484717I'm fat at 230lbs and I can do behind the neck pullups
>>77484717I can do 12/10/10/9/8.
>>77484812It's hard to rank fundamental lifts, say for example your delts and upper/mid chest are the weak point for bench, you would want to do a lot more than just bench to try and bring each muscle up in different ranges of motion and that would be better than just benching to increase the weight because your front delts would get more rom etc from different lifts that are more s tier for front delts better than spamming 10 sets of bench as a workout and I've done both.

>>77487045I wouldn't feed my infant child that baby dose out of respect but there is a difference between impingement and tendon strain look up impingement its basicslly pinching of tissue. Now there is also stretching the muscles over your biogeometry like bones or other contortions that are not impingement but putting load on a fishing rod and letting it rest with the pole on the railing with a big fish causes it to snap much like your muscles and tendons get distributed a load to a few fibers that are in this overly stretched/elongated position. If you ever wanna make progress you have to embrace the dull pain and if you want to train tendons do it at the end of your lifting week so it isn't cut short and you can get enough work in before doing tendon training like a psycho as if you've ever heard of anyone doing that at the gyn ever.
>>77485979These kind of flare ups are why it's better to lift once a month for a year than 20 times in a month. Your tendons take longer to repair than muscle and such constant lack of true rest(for tendons a week is probably just infrequent enough) or an understanding of the unnecessary amount of torque you can put on things just by slightly changing your lifting form.
