How the FUCK do you fix this?
I've tried Dupixent, I've tried every damn shampoo and ointment combination, I've tried damn horse paste ivermectin, I've tried fluconazole.
Why the fuck won't this go away?
How am I ever supposed to look aesthetic with flaky ass inflamed skin?

Perioradontal psoriasis. An allergy. STOP using products and use the most basic face wash you can. If all fails, get in with a dermatologist and get steroids. Topical steroids i mean like hydro. I have this abd its usually because my skin is furious at something new I used

I get this only after I drink alcohol. It subdues after one week. Sometimes Azelaic Acid 10% works to speed up the process, but not by much.

i've been getting this below my lips. i've heard it can be related to the toothpaste you're using (in the area i get it). sort of makes sense because i got a new tube, but sort of not because it's the same stuff i used before. maybe the formula changed.

i haven't tried it yet myself, but on the seb derm subreddit, MCT oil is considered the best treatment

This is perioral dermatitis + sebborheic dermatitis. Had a horrible case for most of my 20s and have had it under control for the past decades. Here's what works:

- Wash your face with ketoconazole / nizoral shampoo 5% strength. Leave it on for a couple minutes after applying. Rinse off. Once a day with your shower or every other day if too drying.
- Wash your face twice a day with a gentle cleanser.
- Shave regularly. If you have dermatitis on your scalp, keep your hair trimmed or shave it.
- Moisturize properly. Lotion + serum/essence + moisturizing cream. I would recommend something gentle and cica based (look up the skin1004 cica suite) or snail based (cosrx).
- Use UV protection, sunlight increases inflammation
- Try to avoid using actives in your skincare (vitamin C, AHA/BHA, etc.) Although Niacinamide or Azalaeic acid can help with the redness if you can tolerate them.
- Avoid spicy food, alcohol, caffeine, tobacco
- Avoid stress and get proper sleep
- Supplements: zinc, turmeric (with pepper), vitamin D, probiotics

I've heard the opposite, that sunlight is good for skin conditions like OP's.

Increases stress/cortisol

Tanning makes your skin thicker and darker which will make the red marks less visible. But once your skin goes back to normal it'll be more irritated and redder.

Let me guess if you had cancer you'd cure it with natural medicine too?

One last thing, locale matters a lot too. Humid and hot weather tends to make things worse (dermatitis is a reaction to bacteria that fees on the sweat and dead kin on your skin). Water quality too, some countries have very hard water or will use harsh chemicals to clean up tapwater. This can make your skin drier and/or more irritated.

Stop showering so much
Just rinse in the shower until your skin heals
Stop drinking alcohol

> Let me guess if you had cancer you'd cure it with natural medicine too?
But OP doesn’t have cancer, does he? If you had a broken arm, would you cure that with chemicals too?

I got you bro TRUST ME

Nizoral 2% shampoo or strongest form. This is important.

> Small amount, wash your hair, leave in for 5 minutes and rinse.
> After shower dry your face, get the same amount rub your hands together until its foam and apply to your face for 30 - 45 seconds and rinse.
>Ceramide cream as moisturiser (important) avoid any other type of cream or moisturiser or face products touching your face outside of the above.

Do this twice a week for two weeks and then really depending on severity once a weak.

I ask one favor in return, be good to people, treat them as you wish to be treated.
