how long does it take to improve your cardio output? ive been pedaling 140 watts for 30 minutes at 90+ rpm and it still feels like my quads turn into jelly
If your legs give up before your heart it's not a cardio problem, consider doing high reps bodyweight deep knee bend to get your quads in check
>>77487188Briefly hitting peak powers in the kilowatt range does more.
>>77487188after about 3 weeks of 30-40 minutes daily zone 2 I noticed I don't get winded when walking up a tone of stairs. Frankly it was kinda trippy. As a former fatass growing up you're used to your legs and you lungs both burning out going up stairs. Very weird to have my heart-rate just slightly elevated while my legs felt like giving out. If that's how you feel it's not a cardio problem it's a leg strength/endurance problem.
>>77487421ive been squatting heavy for months already>>77487446i think the reason my legs feel like that is lactate buildup, that's a cardio problem
>>77487737It’s not a cardio problem at all broski. It’s a threshold problem. You need to do some hard 12:00-16:00 sessions. Or do 4x4:00 with 2:00-3:00 easy cycling in between.
