Is pea protein good? Whey and Casein are so expensive now, will this shit be ok so long as I have real protein (meat) during the day too?
>>77487354Needs rice protein. Unless they are already supplementing. Post amino acid profile.https://rippedbody.com/protein-powder-scams/
the only thing to be concerned about is most pea protein has high amounts of lead in it. if i used it for more than 3-4 months i would probably buy a blood panel to test for lead and see if my own levels were rising concerning.also if you're like me and just buy the unflavored stuff, unflavored pea protein tastes pretty bad compared to unflavored whey.
>>77487354>>77487369>>77487374I ran the vanilla Orgain shit a while and was fine, but subsequently dropped protein entirely from my list of over 100 supplements due to economic reasons despite being fairly rich.
>>77487369>Post amino acid profileIt doesn't mention amino acids at all. The only ingredient is pea protein isolate.
>>77487354I used to pay <10€ per kg for this stuff. Good times. Then COVID and the Russia/Ukraine war, now it's still under 15 but never again will I see those prices.Anyway, don't get the unflavoured one from Bulk, I get banana, it's at least guaranteed to be bearable.
>>77487354I don't understand how you burgers have expensive whey? We have a dairy cartel here in canada and whey is still regular price.
>>77487374>high amounts of leadAccording to california and no other place on earth
>>77487428Some chocolate-flavored ones it's fairly significant where you might get poisoning if eating lots of them. Generally a nothingburger maybe a bit above CA standards for other flavors based on all the testing I've seen, but not quite a universal rule.
>>77487427I'm British, whey is around £30/kg now. Micellar Casein used to be cheaper but now that is also £30/kg. It's actually cheaper to buy tuna now.
>>77487395What do you think protein is made of, anon?
>>77487690I was under the impression that vegan protein powders don't contain all the amino acids needed for muscle growth, and the one I posted in the OP doesn't even list it's amino acid content.
>>77488540> doesn't even list it is amino acid content.well, it is
>>77487379>Dropped the slop cuz JewsUnbelievably basedNo one needs supps to get huge outside of creatine, caffeine and an herbal cortisol suppressant like rhodiola
>>77487437>Some chocolate-flavored ones it's fairly significant where you might get poisoning if eating lots of them.Show me one time this has ever happened. It's a nothing burger
