Better to workout as soon as I wake up or in the night?
>>77488233thats very individual but im definitely a night time liftermy appetite in the mornings is utter shit and even if i get enough food down for one sitting it doesnt give me enough poweri perform much better if i already consumed 1500-2000kcal before training that day
>>77488233It's obviously better to do it while you have energy, so as long as you do it at least 2-3 hours before bed, you should have enough energy to push yourself hard enough. But it's easier mentally to do it earlier in the day, the longer you've been awake, the more compromised your willpower becomes.

>>77488233I've started doing my workout as soon as I get up, and I'm not going back.I work out better fasted, any food at all makes me annoyingly sluggish, and it starts my day really well, I seem to have significantly more energy and alertness through the day.can recommend
For me it depends. Been lifting in the morning for 2 years now but as soon as it cools off i might switch back to afternoons and see how it feels. I often am devpid of energy by the time i'm done working.
