The ultimate lift
If you can't press lmao 1plate BTN then you're pretty much NGMI

I think that I lack more front delt(from bench/incline/ohp) than mid delts. I'll try and build my mid delts ad infinitum though and see if I am fucking up my other shit.

>lookin gay on front delts
>you are all mid delts lookin gay should do some more bench

Managed to BtN strict press 1pl8 last month. Grip width was pinkies on the rings. Working on hitting it with my snatch grip now (collar to collar).

I spammed this for high reps for a few months and my OHP ended up increasing

This lift is so fucking hard to progress in. Going from 1 plate to 1.5 plates took me 5 fucking years while my other lifts went up an average 50lbs a year. Don’t think I will ever hit 2plated unless I gained 50lbs of muscle
>>
Brahs for some reason my ohp is my stronger lift. I can do 1pl8 for 6 reps at 75kg bw but i can't even bench 100kg x 5 (only 2 atm) and my squat is shit. But my ohp is going up every session

Currently do 5x175lbs and maybe some cheating on the last rep

the exercise is awesome if you do it with 2 long power-bands that you step on and underhand press outwards not up, except never press out all the way and be aware, mindful of not clenching scaps together
shoulders out - u wanna be as wide as possible doing it, just undulate - fantastic - does everything what OHP is wrongly credited for thank you very much
what it doesn't do? well it doesn't fuck up shoulders nor clench rhomboids and injure em

ftfy
You're not gaining nearly as much muscle as you think you are, thus you vastly over estimate how much muscle you need to hit the next milestone. 50 lbs of actual muscle is the difference between someone who literally doesn't even lift and an olympic level weightlifter.

and it's not even real muscle but mostly water within muscle
maybe a tad over half of that weight is actual contractile tissue, maybe

working stimuli from ohp without fucking up shoulders
not behind neck in front of neck, shoulders as wide as possible, keep good posture

can I suck the cum out of your dick

I can strict press 75kg 165lbs and 60kg (1plate) is my go-to OHP weight i usually do 5x5 or 4x8.
Big advice - to save your shoulder health stretch A LOT, do dead hangs, do face pulls and also dont fuck up bench and heavy incline dumbbell form. Those all will kill your strength gains
>>77509621
How come? I usually do 5x5 until i cant, then i focus on that plateau and just add reps. When i comfortably can do 12 reps with plateau weight i again start adding weight and return to 5x5. I think i went from 60kg 1rm to now 75kg 1rm in about 2 months and i look like Dyel
Imho hitting too much and nor resting or doing tons of other shoulder exercises impwde the growth of strength. I saw that my shoulders best reacted to OHP and upright rows so i did only thay for some time, then changed up and so on. I absolitely excluded e.g. lat raises for a long time.
>>
I couldn't do my standing BTN OHP's the other day because faggots were hogging the racks, ended up doing steep incline bench on the smith machine instead since it was empty with the bench already set up
