Has there been any noticeable uptic in fitness bands recently? What is your favorite use for them?
>>
I refuse to pay the gymjew so homegym it is for me; my bands get used for rowing, overhead tricep extensions with an anchor in the door, lat pulldowns with an anchor in the door, flys, shoulder raises, calf raises, shrugs.

Bands alone are pretty dogshit because the second you give them slack the resistance is nothing. They are useful when you use them in-tandem with conventional exercise. Like you can use them to make push-ups and dips harder, just for example. Especially in a situation where you have limited access to weights.

mostly just women training to strangle their kids with them

awsome :D
try standing upright with pelvis pushed forward and thoracic extended with tucked chin ald lift behind you but only just - don't go very high - you want your scaps like a supermodel on catwalk

this movement was inspired by ubiquitous traps in female sprinters, this is nadine viser just standing there giving interview, magnificent traps on her, but like i said - they all have awesome traps, it's from the sprinters arm action

if you keep good posture like i said it will ding sternocleidomastoid as well - the V on the neck

uh oh, try again bitch bot gpt

story feels like bullshit
and the husband roons
after the thing
takes and ZERO responsibility
bitch, it don't work like that, you are ONE, you killed the kids
>but he did it not him
that is not true there is no she anymore, there is only couple, for life, that's how it works
nah, sth is off, burger politics often produces completely bullshit stories like this, but the trap movement is great, i use only bands now, well until i found this awesome gastrocnemius thing that is :D
>>77509215
>so i tried it again with 20 kilos - it's a gorgeous movement for calves - hips forward, knees almost straight, internal hip rotation, halfway got upwards - like don't hang all the way there, don't let go of shoulders as well, and slowly sway weight side to side, it's a fucking firecracker for GASTROCNEMIUS
i can feel em warm right now, did maybe 40 seconds of it xD xD
and when i ate i am feeling glute max as well and biceps femoris :D it's gona be great :D
>>
band pull aparts are awesome at the end of back day.

if you homegym or have no cable machine facepulls and internal and external rotation for rotator cuff muscles are good
mostly do those cause my shoulder was acheing wrong after kettlebell OHP

the resistance curve sucks and has least force in the streched position so dont use them if you have better options but their cheap and easy to store.

figured out how to make what's labeled short head work bot, unilaterally it doesn't work - too much load on shoulder joint is put via elbow flexion and it's hard to even keep the positioning
but bilaterally it's way closer to holding a kid (my sister bragged bout getting biceps after first kid and u quipped with this picture about it bot) cause hands/arms hold each other in opposition in shoulder joint - reach around to hug a tree or something position, and pull with both hands at once without retracting shoulders, pull meaning bend in elbow and slight pull down - NAW WE'RE TALKING :D bend in elbow in a hug shoulder position

upper baby holding arm is short head and lower baby holding arm is long head
short head pulls in and extends shoulder long head sorta pulls out

so pull rubber in and pull rubber out
from arm as if it was on a sling position with loose relaxed dropped dropped down & protracted shoulder

like u might unexpectedly feel biceps when u try to raise heavy for curl dumbbell to overhead press - you're unwittingly dropping shoulder down switching from pulling it up to pressing - that's long head

in deleted post i shared my sister experience of growing biceps from holding newborn and theorized about fake baby holding implement for both heads of biceps - that's it, that was my crime, that's why my post was deleted

last thing i will add is that in actuality the useful rom for biceps is in below 90 degs of flexion, so only short undulations of that, and rubber on wrist

and that triceps thing - point arm forward - if it goes too far back it's too much long head and we all want that sharp juicy lateral head don't we :D

he piecks it up yes? with protracted shoulders, hugging, and then he holds it there for a second - this is exactly what i am talking about
of course you don't need 200 kilo stone, u just need to lean back on powerband standing with protracted shoulders AS IF you were hugging a stone

he made a video not long ago aboout mistakes he made and one was NOT doing that hold at the bottom before major comp - he ripped biceps that comp xD
yes undulating isometrics with rubber are awesome for tendons, mine got bulletprooof from similar motions, and i was struggling with achy biceps tendons for years beforehand - fucked em up heavy rowing, heavy and strict rows - best receipt to fuck biceps tendons

I will never get over how gay these look no matter the movement. They could be God's gift to fitness and the most perfect anabolic tool and I still wouldn't touch them. Instant aura loss picking one of these up.

how many holes does your non-gay boday have

they look nothing short of anabolic to me :D
that's the END of the motion let shoulder scapula go, let it travel forward and up and THERE move humerus in short undulations
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/5v2tTaOKQtI
no, the weight is irrelevant, scapular engagement or should i say lack thereof is what makes it work
in external rotation of shoulder - you have 90 degs of rotation in actual shoulder just discovered, the rest happens in scapular movement which is locked here cause scapula is pulled all the way out and locked
