Type of place where there are high schoolers loitering everywhere with squeaky clean pickup trucks whilst every grocery clerk and fast food employee is an immigrant. Anyway, most of the people at my gym are either these teens flexing nothing in small groups together or moms doing bodyweight moves. Normal lifters here and there but they’re the minority. Had a personal trainer for a couple months there and he was so visibly relieved to work with someone that wasn’t half assing everything.
In suburban Pittsburgh after living in NYC and Ohio for 22 years and 5 years. Everybody is either skinny or really fat some dudes clearly on roids too but nobody who looks natty is lean or even a little buff in Pittsburgh, in Ohio there were a lot of actual lifters it was surprising to see many pawgs very many actually, and in NYC/LI there were more women than men and many appeared to be athletes not a lot of roiders either. Ohio had the most visible roiders proportionately and in the liberal basedburbs of Pittsburgh people clearly aren't interested in being big or lean at all it seems.
