When was the last time you changed your belief and approach to a fundamental tenant of nutrition and/or fitness, and what was it that you changed your mind on, and what changed your mind?
>>77514067>tenantis a person who rents from a landlordyou're thinking of "tenet"
>>77514071Sorry, I used speech to text because I'm disabled.
>>77514067I used to think research and studies were worthwhile to pay attention to, then I started reading their methodology and realized they are all scams.
>>77514301Their methodology is determining who will pay them the most for promoting an agenda and then lying with statistics.
>>77514067I was a big proponent of OMAD and the idea that in the grand scheme it doesn't matter when you get your meal in as long as you hit your calories and macros. I've done this for a long time, (not very successfully) even for bulking. I think I read something about MPS and while I am not convinced that "meal timing" is that important, I simply see better development since I eat smaller but more frequent meals. I first changed to like 3-4 meals but always skipped breakfast. I was making better gains at that point. I recently changed it so I would have a high protein breakfast, because I figured the longest stretch my body isn't getting protein is from sleep til lunch, so I should cut that short a few hours and have breakfast too, and I've seen some improvement since then.
>>77514301>>77514309Retards who get health advice from facebook boomers and podcast jews to shill you latest product>>77514067The whole blaming fat angle was understood pretty early in the nutrition sciences world to be a psyop by the slop and sugar industry, especially as this all coincided with the meteoric rise of slop
At this point I dont trust anything outside of the hard sciences like physics because there is so much unchecked bullshit.Honestly all you need to know is to eat lean meat, keep carbs and fats in check without avoiding them, and avoid processed shit. That's it.

>>77514067Cannot tell, I’m constantly learning new stuff. But when it comes specifically to food, nobody beats YOU GOTTA EAT BIG TO GET BIG, GOOD FUCKING MORNING!!!>>77514076Really hope this is not an excuse to skip leg day.
These stupid "journalists" don't know their asses from their elbows and just type up whatever Mr. X or Dr. Y said. The problem isn't really that what they print has a high margin for error, it's that they're not selective and just print whatever. Bob Dylan had a stellar take on Time Magazine in 1965, directly to one of these chodes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtFWXRd6VKw&t=4s
>>77514478I can almost certainly guarantee the second headline came from something retarded like "We found that a lot of people with diabetes also ate eggs, ergo eggs contribute to diabetes!"
>>77514609>I can almost certainly guarantee
>>77514478The science has changed, Chud!
>>77514629Why the fuck are eggs the topic of such flipfloppery to the point that satire like this resonates? Is it due to their perception as being "proto-meat, not quite meat, but the closest thing"?
>>77514639It's because virtually everybody eats them and they're usually very affordable, nutritious and easily used in all kinds of dishes. In short, they are a staple. Same thing with break/milk/oil etc
>>77514642I guess that makes sense. Maybe the correlation is how they're all ubiquitous, how all of these can go bad enough to ruin your day/impact your health from eating them without "seeming too bad", and how intolerances and allergies for each can vary from anaphalaxis to brain fog to feeling like you're shitting your entire insides out.
>>77514067>I'm doing everything rightLet me guess you don't eat "too much." >I GOTTA tell you somethingStrangle all weak cut fags.
>>77514652Bro if they didn't numb their brain by keeping active and 50 lifting pills a day they'd kill themselves.
