>chest press machine
>it's hardest near lockout
Why do companies do this? I'm trying to train chest not my fucking triceps.

Genuinely no clue what you're trying to say

>machine without horizontal and vertical grips
You made the whole machine and were too lazy to get fancy grips? Half of the reason machines are good is just to keep banging out sets well beyond what is reasonable and neutral grip is typically the easiest on your joints.

Precor is just a garbage company. Almost all of their machines suck dick.
>>
either your grip is wrong, your form is wrong, you didnt set the proper starting position on the machine, or you are using a garbage machine

nautilus is best, hammer strength is made by his son, also good. few others are ok, but you need a machine with proper force curves.

The gym i used to workout at cause it was cheap had only precor machines, they were all terrible in some ways but the seated hamstring curl was the worst. The support that usually goes over your thighs to keep you in place was part of the gimmick that you curl and was over your shins instead, it was pure torture to try to use that piece of shit.
And the hack squat and leg press platforms for the feet were curved.
