I’ve been liking this split:Day 1: run workout, bodyweight leg circuit afterwardDay 2: shoulders and armsDay 3: core, stretching, prehab/physizoDay 4: chest and backI have two workouts for every muscle I alternate between, one heavier and one lighter. I do easy runs on Day 2-4 depending on how my legs are doing that day. I’m having a hard time getting faster 1 mile time and thinking about doing more track workouts. Shortest runs I do now are like 5x500m with jogging in between. Thinking about taking long standing rests and doing some 200m repeats or even some 100m.
>>77516466Forgot to say I usually have 2 or 3 run workouts I rotate through. Like 5x500m and a long easy run.
>>77516466>2 hour half marathon
>>77516488lol I experimented with super long easy runs up to half marathon distance to build aerobic base and get faster 5k and it sort of worked but not really worth the effort!
