How do I reverse it? Consistent high intensity exercise for years on end? Every medical organisation and doctor says you're fucked, but I've heard anecdotes of people being successful.
>>77517388Read up on what Theodore Roosevelt said. The bottom line is that progressive overload spurs adaptation. This applies to every tissue in the body, however you MUST understand that muscle tissue adapts MUCH faster than soft tissues (e.g., tendons and ligaments ) which in turn adapt MUCH faster than bone which in turn adapts MUCH faster than smooth muscle and lung tissue. Which means expect years of slow and plateau ridden progress. This is NOT the same as a bodybuilding or powerlifting program. The progress will be nearly infinitesimal and overreach will set you back. But yes it can be done.
If there was a cure, it would've been common knowledge by now.
>>77517388Lots and lots of mild-moderate cardio with some intense stuff once in a while. Also try antihistamines, allergies might be underlying your asthma.>>77517400Basically this. You will adapt eventually if you don't have literal cancer.

>>77517411For the good of the people? you live in fantasy land. Why should I care aboout giving the cure when I won't get shit from it.
>>77517388Asthma is basically kiddie COPD. Neither can be cured and anyone saying they can be is full of shit.

>>77517388i had asthma when i was 20-30 y/o (now 31). it required daily medication. not sure how my body snapped out of it, or why it started began the first place. i basically just started noticing that i was able to get away with skipping doses of advair+zyrtec like i wasn't able to before, then weaned myself off of them. prior to advair i was using montelukast, but my doctor took me off of it because it has been found to have some pretty serious potential sides
>>77517411>Worldwide sales of just one Asthma drug, Advair, exceed $16 billion USyeah I'm sure there's no reason for people to keep a "cure" on the down low, though as with basically every ailment god tier diet and detox absolutely destroys it
I've had asthma since i was like 12 years old and now i'm 34 and I'm just living with it. Lifting and eating healthy definitely helps and i haven't used an inhaler in the last year so it's good, i will get random mild attacks once every month but lately I'm stressed from work and I have intense shortness of breath for like 20 mins until it goes back to normal and not in an asthmatic way like wheezing and coughing but more like gasping for air. I don't know what's going on, it happens before leg days or when i have bad sleep or i'm stressed
