>get really sick and go from 184lbs on June 17th to 135lbs on August 1st>start to feel better and go from 135lbs on August 1st to 168lbs today (September 15)These weights were measured at my doctor's office. Certainly these weight fluctuations can't be good for me.
>real sickwith what? You're a victim weight tranny anyway
>>77518160Sick with IBD. I was 200lbs when I first started getting sick in February.
>>77518382Sorry for my shit spelling pretty tired today + phoneposting
>>77518169>>77518384Sorry i goofed up. I have IBD too. Sorry to hear you wern't well. What medication were/are you on? Here's my weigh-ins after i left hospital following severe flare up. I waited for things to settle down before i started to weigh in so i was collecting broadly useful data.
>>77518121>>77518169Hey man, sorry to hear that, IBD is not an easy thing to live with. Going from 135 to 168 is pretty good for recovery from a bout.
>>77518389I had my last skyrizi infusion today and have been on Prednisone since May
>>77519264When you say last were you not reponding to it? Are you moving onto something else? Is this your first time on pred? As you may know it can cause water retention + bloating and can increase appetite. Ref your op I wouldnt worry too much about the weight gain desu. The issue is the inflammation. Eat well within the limitations of your diet, exercise within the limitations of pred (im on 25mg as of this week started at 40, my sleep hasnt been great so my energy fluctuates. Sometimes i'll hit weights hard, sometimes ill leave a few reps in reserve and take longer rests). Gentle steady cardio, keep steps up. Stay hydrated. If you get fatigue consider vit b1 300mg. Luckily ive been ok but be wary of mood - anxiety anger. My first time on pred (60mg) i barely slept, embarked on loads of retarded projects like designing my own backpack lol + made a lot of impulsive purchases. Pred is catabolic but im making gains.
