ITT: "Healthy" foods that aren't
>>
>>
>>77522089
They are healthier options than the alternatives.

Meme cookie is objectively better than a standard cookie it's size.
Margarine is healthier when used instead of butter

Nature valley is just a granola bar. I would say it's a lot better than a lot of other snacks.
>>

Wrong
>>
>>77522101
>margarine is healthier
Oh look at the retard who knows nothing giving "health" advice. Absolute mouth breathing moron
>>
>>77522089
There's no such thing as healthy food, food can't undo damage or give you more life. There's regular food that gets you to baseline and then there's unhealthy food that hurts you, anything that is processed to take the fiber or moisture out is unhealthy.

Like this >>77522110
Made from natural ingredients and then processed to turn it into fiberless, waterless slop. Sugar without fiber is essentially poison.
>>
>>77522089
Every protein bar I see is like 12 grams of protein and 20 grams of fat. It should be called a fat bar.
>>
>>77522136
Protein bars are 100% meme may as well eat the Lennylarry cookie at that point. Shakes are much better but cost a stupid amount now. Best bet is some slices of deli turkey and some cheese but it could be argued those have draw backs too I guess.

Its a granola bar and granola is healthy
Its just not a protein bar and should not be eaten for protein
Its for carbs and some fat if they have chopped nuts/peanut butter

I'm wrong based on what? I don't think I've ever seen a replacement study that showed butter doing better than pufa.

Your first statement is objectively and demonstrably incorrect. Your second statement is just explaining what the picture is, which is stupid, because that's the entire point of the thread.

NTA, not linking articles either, the difference in outcomes between butter and substitutes are so marginal now that there's really no point in arguing over either side though the butter substitutes now tend to have modest benefit
>>
>>77522197
Uhh okay, feel free to provide any evidence on your end.
>https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5480968/
>https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8048052/
On this one the abstract says they were both worse than olive oils but if you look at the data the margarine still does a lot better than the butter.

Unless there is some weird high-transfat-margarine study showing butter is better, there isn't any evidence that shows that butter is better. Standard low-transfat margarine has better health outcomes than butter.

I don't think margarine is healthy btw. I think it's worse for you than liquid fats like olive/seed oil. But still better than butter.

the 30g added sugar of pop tarts is the single least healthy part. People who fear marginal poisons find this and get even more of the worst poison.

btw conflating 'carbs' and 'sugar' is exactly like conflating 'carbs' and 'vodka'. Fructose should be budgeted completely separately from glucose and consumed with care (ideally in the form of the original fruit with its fiber, which means no cane sugar unless you want to chew on something that looks like bamboo). The CICO-schizo point of the Japanese being fit on a diet of rice is because of this. 100 jokes about uranium and that guy never just linked Robert Lustig, what a bitch.

I don't link any research on here because I am convinced (and probably correct) 95% of anons are too damn stupid to appraise the literature
>>
>>77522363
Tnd AI can provide sources for any position as well. There's plenty of bad and sponsored research out there. The food pyramid and low-fat diets also all had research sources. A random pubmed isn't the same as a random expert carefully breaking down the random pubmed for public consumption in a persuasive way, like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBnniua6-oM which nails fructose so hard that you might stop giving a shit if butter is marginally better or worse for you.
>>
>>77522371
AI is pozzed and frequently hallucinates research findings. As for the food pyramid and low fat diets angle yes though this was understood by independent nutritional science. There's a lot more interesting nuance re: the food pyramid including a lot of political jewing going in in the background. Even RFK jrs new modern food pyramid is pretty retarded for health purposes
>>
>>77522363
It's actually because it doesn't exist. The only time butter does better than margarine was back when they put trans fats in margarine.

Cry all you want about AI summary but I literally loaded it for you to get it to show any contrary evidence.
>>
>>77522395
First off stop using AI it will turn you gay and retarded and frequently hallucinates data and makes up findings. I can confirm this because I tried using several of them for research papers and the information was straight wrong. Plus there's actual research confirming this. Second off I am this anon >>77522245
>>
>>77522395
>LDL, or "bad"
this is a conflation of two kinds of LDL, the actually bad of which comes from fructose (or ethane) metabolism. It's inconvenient to distinguish the two kinds so the pubmeds also conflate them.

What is the angle of the Lenny & Larry's cookies?

I've had them many times (the taste is good) but didn't analyze the nutrition that much.

The total carbs and calories do seem high (per whole cookie). As stated they do have 10g fiber, and 16g protein.

Total sugar is still less than a Snickers bar.

I'm thinking them being vegan is a big selling point, but I'm not vegan myself.
>>
>>77522556
Here's the nutrition info for a standard Snickers bar. As you can see, the cookie has more fiber and protein. Less sugar. Less fat.

But the Snickers is 250 cal vs. the 440 cal cookie. And has far less carbs.
>>
>>77522568
Snickers has marginally more fructose and a lot less fiber, and that's all that matters. That CICO fixation and carb-counting would actually lean someone to the more-fattening Snickers is a pretty good argument against both of those practices. Excess glucose alone would stimulate more activity and less eating; a high dose of fructose hitting the liver turns directly to fat and interferes with dietary self-regulation.
>>
>>77522556
>What is the angle of the Lenny & Larry's cookies?

low quality bait
>>
>>77523747
Every single health organization said that an intervention would definitely have a particular outcome, and then that outcome didn't happen, and you accept this because an inevitable and easily foreseen thing also happened? Do you remember any of those organizations adding "for about a year" qualifier, or "unless there's a new strain like we've already seen continuously"?
>sharply decreased serious illness and mortality
mathematically rather than medically: if you got sick and then died too soon after a shot that filibusters your immune system with the actual toxin + information about an already ancient mutation of the disease, then your death was counted as unvaccinated.

if your building was on fire and alarms are telling you to leave, I could get you to stay in it and die, just by telling you that the fire would kill you in the next five seconds. When that doesn't happen, well obv. the building is safe.

many of you vaxtards died, especially from cancer, because cancers naturally form and naturally get eradicated, and an overwhelmed immune system can't keep doing that. Your immune system doesn't have an infinite capacity for action so it's actually very harmful to distract it so much. Many of you also died from heart problems because "every health organization" also lied about the mRNA remaining at the injection site and only reprogramming a small number of cells to only pollute your body with spike cells for a small window of time.

Not a single one claimed it completely prevented transmission. It drastically reduced transmission and greatly reduced the chance of hospitalization.

>>77523964
all that happened to covid is that the virus kept mutating to become more infectious and less deadly, like it did obviously and repeatedly before the vaccine even came out. You poisoned yourself while accomplishing nothing at all to stop the pandemic, which stopped on its own, which it would've done anyway. You may as well have performed a mass human sacrifice to "stop covid" ... oh, you kinda did!
