What are some good spinal extension exercises? Is picrel good?
>>
After much consideration I've decided on the jefferson curls.

Jefferson curls are okay, better then nothing. Why not just go back extensions

I agree with this. Bodyweight and light weoght Jeffersons are ok, like 20 lbs or less. There is no reason to weight them beyond that. We know compressing discs under load amd shearing forces on them are not good so no reason to do it. Back extensions accomplish everything they could just isometrically which is fine. You can go nuts on weighted back extensions with basically zero risk to your spinal health.

Not good for dead pigs, yeah.

Humans have slipped discs, ruptured discs and other injuries they incurred while doing resistance training. We know this because they experienced sudden pain during a workout. These injuries happen, under load, and we even have it on film in some cases. What is your point?
