When figuring my protein needs for muscle growth, should i calculate based on my goal body weight or my current body weight? I'm currently fat as fuck (about 38kg overweight, to be precise) which amounts to a quite large amount of daily protein that i feel it's way more than i need. Especially considerin lifting my ass from the bed every morning is the only real lifting i've ever done.

i look like this

no
2g+ per kg of total body mass
going super high protein on a cut is the smartest thing you can do
just eat whole foods that are high in proteins, not grocery store "protein food"
also start lifting

1 gram per pound of LEAN body mass is optimal
0.7-0.8 if you don't lift
