Started doing these heavy af and already got stretch marks on my shoulders
>>

zottman curls

Honestly any exercise is GOATed as long as you stick with it for a year.

I will give my personal preference as Squats because they will make your legs explode. Followed by bench for making your arms and pecs explode. Everyone does those anyways but it is really hard to find anything with such fast and visible results.

Kinda sorta doubt that desu famalam. Progressive overload is notoriously slow with lateral raises.

Nah im fr. Before I was doing them with 15lbs as an accessory lift at the end of shoulder day. Now I start my shoulder day bussin out 25lb lifts. Already moved up to 30lbs. And thats elbows locked good form too (minimal back swinging). Now my armpits got these stretch marks and you can literally feel the ripped skin. My shoulders started exploding fast when I made the switch. It is hard af tho, but doing slow reps with light weight aint ever gave me this much progress

*pulls you out of dyeldom*

With Chinese? You cant escape dyeldom with the dyel version of pull ups

Chin ups*
>>
>>77533894
It's the neutral grip that is peak dyelism
>>
incline bench
hammer curl
shoulder press
dumbbell rows

literally all you need to progress on for a solid upper. tricep extensions and lateral raises are good but once you can bench and press heavy i never felt like i needed them anymore.
>>
>>77533805
No one had ever gotten big shoulders only doing lateral raises, but I've seen huge guys that only do OHP. What is this gaslight thread?
>>
>>77534019
Because most people tell you to do low weight and go slow. Start banging them shits out with 30lbs and you'll see your shoulders explode

>front squat
>pendlay row
>dip

Na, you're full of shit
>>
>>77534035
Im serious tho. Try that shit and youll be getting stretch marks under your armpit in a month

Dear OP, im not trying to discredit your personal experience, if you actually believe that your shoulders started to disproportionally grow large since you switched to heavier weight, thats great, Im happy for you, but your personal experience doesn't suddenly completely negate the experience of every other person in the world, and the scientific evidence we have on the topic. The vast majority of people (that actually have built large shoulders) are completely convinced that lower weight higher reps is the most effective way to train shoulder. Also, the science on muscle composition seems to strongly indicate that shoulders are a muscle that have a lot of muscle fibers that tend to grow the most when stimulated with lower weight and higher reps. Shoulder are an endurance muscle, just like calves are, and that's also exactly why so many people struggle to grow calves, because they try to train it like other muscles, using heavy weights in the 12 rep range, and meanwhile every sprinter and every fat person (lower weight, more continuous load) develops MASSIVE calves. Training shoulders kinda works the same way. This is also why we often see basketball players with massive round shoulders, even though they don't spend a lot of time doing heavy weight training for the shoulders. Shoulders are, without a single doubt, a muscle that benefits more from lower weights and higher reps. I don't know what you are experiencing opposite results. Maybe the heavier weight allowed you to make better progressive overload, whereas you didn't progress as much on the lower weights? Maybe you didn't train hard/far enough when you did lower weights, I don't know, but I do know that your personal experience isn't very good advice to other lifters. Overall, lower weights higher reps is a good idea if you want to train your shoulders.

I fucked up my shoulders doing these in the 5-8 rep range with heavy weight. Take that as you will
>>
>>77534042
And is their advice working for you??? Are you seeing the results that low weight high rep promised you or are you wondering whats missing? Why don't you have the big delts they have?

Body builders and athletes are on drugs. People on drugs get big off literal bullshit bad routines.

As a natty person you need to build muscle and maximize your weight lifted for size. I do both. I max out my shoulders first with heavy weights, then I also do more form controlled raises at the end just to empty the tank. But I didnt start seeing explosive growth until I started starting my shoulder workouts with heavy af elbow locked lateral raises
>>
>>77533904
Is that what Kike Israetel told you?
>>
>>77534052
>And is their advice working for you???
Ehm, yes, actually. My shoulders are relatively well developed compared to the rest of my body, and look decently round for a natural. Also, even if I would be a complete dyel myself, that still wouldnt take away from the fact that 9 out of 10 people seem to experience the exact opposite that you are experiencing and that the science is also on their side. Again, I think there are other factors that have led to your experience. The heavier weight probably caused you to make better progressive overload, or you didn't to go failure far enough (and often enough) when you did lower weights or something. I'm not saying you are lying or retarded, but I am saying there might be a factor that you are missing out on.

>>77534075
Well, again, I don't see how that matters, because even if you think I'm a dyel, that still doesn't change the science or the fact that 9 out of 10 people have experience the opposite as you did, but ok, sure.

Will lateral raises give me Samus delts?
>>
>>77534102
No, but OHP will
>>
>>77534114
OHP is a front delt/triceps exercise
>>
>>77534190
It works side delt just as much
