Not impossible but it's a very gradual process involving finding new ways to fill your boredom and find different ways to deal with stress. That depends on your situation, which may be way different and involve a number of things not applicable to mine. A good first step though would be to not have much ready-made food in your place and have the few ready-made things in the place be something you can't get a ton of calories from. If I wanted to eat something right now, I can have apples, pickles or kimchi, things I would get full from before getting even a fraction of the calories I would need to get fat again. If I want anything higher calorie than that, the fastest thing would be boil some eggs. Regardless of your situation, you do have willpower. I thought about posting the "Calories can't legally enter your body without your consent" meme, but having been a fat stress and boredom eater myself, I know how condescending that feels, but it is kind of true.
